Out of nowhere, the winged she-elf gripped the Orc by his back with her nail-cuffs, before he could even kill off Fili. With her strength, Saeril threw the creature away, out of the window, which shattered into wooden pieces from the impact. Legolas appeared through the door, and began using his daggers to kill off the orcs, who were attacking the children. He killed and slashed at the Orc who was close to hit the she-elf, before stabbing two nearby. 

To get out of the ensuing chaos, Saeril quickly and carefully moved Kili off the table, and to the bed nearby. An orc was about to hit her from behind, but she was quick to turn around and fend it off, to keep it away from the injured Kili. However, one of them manages to escape. "Oakenshield has gone!", he told Bolg in Black Speech, who was standing nearby. "Fall back! Regroup at the bridge!", the leader ordered as the orc pack retreats. 

"You killed them all", Bain gasped in astonishment. "There are others. Tauriel, come", Legolas said to his comrade before beginning to leave.
