[@WeepingLiberty] Reading the lore, it states the academy helps guide mages into learning their magic. How much experience prior to joining do we have with magic? If our parent(s) were mahes, would we have some basic knowledge of spells or is it frowned upon to learn before attending the academy? If this was asked or clarified already, I'm sorry!
