Shion physically cringed, taking a few steps backwards as the all-too-familiar voice brought the stranger's identity to light. The gods had a cruel sense of irony, this much she knew. Ah, how that voice brought back memories of a time when she was young and foolish, of a time when she was still sorting her garden, but in all honesty, she was an entirely different person back then. He, on the other hand, hadn't changed much at all, which for some would be a comfort and an testament to nostalgia. However, while perhaps she had hoped he wouldn't recognize her, he did. Immediately. Well...immediately for him, anyway. Letting out a sigh as he would screech her name (she had forgotten how loud he was) she knew what was coming next. She shook her head, simply sidestepping his leap and watched him crash onto the floor. "'...'Honey Bunny'...still ongoing with the nicknames, are we?" She muttered, crossing her arms. "Though I'm not surprised to see you in a jail cell. Whose skirt were you caught looking under this time? A noble's?" Her words were as icy as ever, though one couldn't help but notice the grimace on her face. Lorenzo blinked slowly, watching the scene unfold before him. Jaakuna did tell him that they were getting reinforcements, but never in his life did he imagine seeing this old bastard here. Walking past both the other men and Shion, he knelt down, his grin wide as he perched his chin on his hand. "Well, well, well, if it isn't Domingo himself!" He smirked, a malicious look in his eye. "And once again, I win this one, considering it's in my good graces that we've come to rescue your sorry ass!" He let out a rather haughty laugh, though the race of evil could definitely be heard underneath. "The fact that you know him doesn't surprise me in the slightest," Shion stated rather dryly. "Birds of a feather often fly together..." "OI! DON'T GO COMPARING ME TO THIS DUNCE!" Lorenzo jumped up, hollering. "He's just jealous of me and my brilliant mind! It ain't my fault that I outclass him!"
Nabudis? Of all the things she had been trying to understand, Sylvester would throw yet another wrench into things. She didn't understand, why was he like this? And why mention Nabudis? Biting her lip, she tried to calm herself down, though out of the corner of her eye she could see Sanguine watching them closely. Could she be able to take him on? Even so, she wasn't entirely sure that she could fight him and protect the frail man, not to mention she'd end up with the rest of the guild on her at a moment's call. Taking a breath to rest her nerves, she would instead focus on the man before her. A pang of guilt hit her, though she pushed it aside--clearly he was tormented, and he needed help. "What happened?" She asked him gently, trying to sound as understanding as possible. "Your brother...your whole family thinks you've passed. How did you end up here?" Can I do anything for him? Nadeline prodded Ultima mentally, trying not to alert Sanguine of her intention. Ultima was silent, though for once, it wasn't out of ignoring the princess. That...depends entirely. The frailty is not due to age, no...it is as if his Lifestream was pulled from him, or...I cannot say for sure. What do you mean? There is some dark magicks here...the Shard... The Shard? The Midlight Shard that had destroyed Nabudis? Or so they said...but she needed to hear the truth straight from the horse's mouth.
