[@Greenie] You don't always have to play just the one character though. 

Actually I'm not sure if the Ironborn had any kind of mysticism connected to them besides all the Merling, Cthulhu stuff. 

[@bloonewb] He probably would have been kept close at either Winterfell or King's Landing. I imagine Starks would have attempted to make him a friend.
