Helena never really thought of the dangers of Edmond's fire abilities.  She kind of figured the fire would stick on him and he could allow it to travel if he wanted. At Edmond's request for a transformation, Helena weighed her options.  It didn't seem like such a good time, especially after the situation with Neric earlier.  Not only that, but there were people who hadn't seem her transform to the extent of before, like Valencia and Max.  Helena didn't want to upset anyone.
