Sometime on the morrow, Dax is going to handle/kill/distract some of those pesky archers so they stop firin' so much atcha, so don't go too far just yet puh-leeeze. (Unless of course you got the writing itch, then by all means don't let me stop you.)

@MacabreFox All right, I'm finally on! I'm not sure how much time I have this weekend though; I have a major art history paper due Tuesday. Sorry I've been offline so much lately.

EDIT: I also just realized I have no idea how to contribute at this point, as I wasn't available earlier in the week. Is it better to just sit this collab out?

For starters, tell us where Bharzak is and what she is doing. After that, tell us what she plans to do and whether or not she will meet up with the rest.

There's two groups at Nightgate. Jorwen and Dax are battling Kamal collaborators outside, while Keegan, Marcel, Sevine and Rhasha'Dar are trying to avoid being trapped inside the inn. Oh, and Fulgrog is dead right besides the door, which may be something Bharzak wants to react to.

@Graviloquence ^^^^ what that dude said. Also, feel free to insert Bharzak's responses in between the posts (depending on what group you put her in), that way it flows smoother when we read it ^.^

Hmmm, I am a bit confused on where everyone now is atm in the doc, but I am attemtping to get my bearings and make my post. Will Dax's stuff be put back eventually in its spot? I'd rather not one long post for him so it can do a scene switch between the arrows thudding into the Inn, to then Dax stopping them, and then suddenly to all those near the Inn they can notice that there is a temporary lull in archer fire.
I'll write now though and we can figure it out^^. Sorry for that long delay, friends!

So far:

-Keegan, Marcel, Sevine and Rhasha'Dar are pinned down inside the inn. Fulrog was with them but killed by an arrow through the main doorway.
-Bharzak was at the pond when the attack happened. She killed the archer aiming at the inn door on her way back.
-Sevine and Rhasha escapes through a side window. Jorwen sees them after killing an enemy.
-Keegan, Marcel and Bharzak leaves out the main door. An enemy archer attempts to shoot them, but was taken out by Dax.

A'righty, Kyne's Tear/ Bthamz boys and girls, update is a-go!

I'm going to forgo the dice mechanics for this first little bit, so here's what we're looking at:

-Approximately 70 Kamal aboard the frigate; usually frigates carry crews of 180+ men in old-naval times, but since this both a converted prison ship and Kamal are big boys who are abnormally large/ a giant pain in the ass to fight, we're knocking that number down sufficiently. It's going to be a hell of a fight for both the player characters and our faceless mooks/ NPCs, who have an advantage in both numbers and fire weaponry and that only about a quarter of the Kamal are wearing the kind of heavy armour we saw in the Windhelm siege, so they won't be nearly as brutal to fight, although they'll be much faster and have better spacial awareness. Comically huge weaponry still applies.
-The ballistas are still in operation and puncturing holes in the hull and setting small blazes when they manage to puncture. This will be a threat for anyone going below deck to watch out for.
-Other than the usual swords, shields, mauls, and spears, the Kamal also have javelin throwers in their midst and a small (about 10) battle mages, giving them ranged options. For obvious reasons, they won`t be using fire and mostly be using ice destruction spells, alteration, and some minor restoration spells on their pals.
-The captain of the ship is a towering asshole named Kghergitz who is decked out in plate armour, a full helm, and he has the distinction of being one of the very few people alive who dual wields maces. He laughs in the face of your puny armour/ skeletal structure

The goal of this mission is to kill 'em all and scuttle their ship.
