Forgive me for being late, Sensei ... Rai was making his way to the training ground where he was to meet his new team members and Sensei. The prospect of working in a team was not too tempting for him. Not that he had done so much of anything in his life but when it mattered, he was counting only on himself. But as he thought about it, surviving several years in the streets of Kirigakure was something. His attitude and skills were great for that - with his detached, almost uncaring personality he had a lot easier job making his way in the harsh streets. And his mastery over the katana and wakizashi were quite impressive for his age. And he still had his deadliest surprise hidden in his sleeve. And he was about to test its credibility against his new teammates. As he approached the training ground, he spotted there were people present already - undoubtedly, his team. Sighing, he made his way through the gate, his hand prepared to reach for either his wakizashi or katana. Every muscle on his body was tense and prepared to act. Every one of his senses was working on overdrive. He was prepared to react in a matter of a second. He only needed an opening to react.
