Sorry about the confusion. I was trying to avoid making the post sound like an obvious exposition dump, so it may have come across a little vague. Sepia's adopted, though she is distantly related to her father.

Just watched the newest World of Remnant episode? Am I the only one who's curious to know more about what happened during that final battle? Sounds super intense and epic if it caused all three other kingdoms to decide they wanted to have the King of Vale in charge.

@Crimmy can you give me more specific feedback plz :( I know most people here don't care too much if their characters aren't on my drawings but feedback is lifeblood of an artist, especially when they're not good at drawing

Try sitting on a bed in the pose you drew Sangue is.

It's not one that you'd naturally wake up and get up in.

@Crimmy Hm I think you're right about that, she does kinda look more like she tripped on something and rolled all the way to Vacuo rather than get up from a bed

I'll just remove the drawing from the IC and keep practicing

(Just a question but do you think it's fine for me to look at other poses online and base some of my drawings off them? Not tracing, but basing because I don't really know any poses now that I think about it)

My AP art teacher would jump on kids who didn't use references. Most artists who want a quality result and have not studied the thing they are drawing religiously do.

For example, you cannot dodge things aimed at your head by moving your neck.
