You can have Star trek if you want it.  I've got other shows I would like to play as, I just thought ST would be the best match for a starting universe.

There's also Star gate, Andromeda, BSG.  The matrix and even something like Xmen could be made to work, as it's sci-fi enough, though guardians of the galaxy would fit better.
