Both are accepted, but I'd like you to add a little bit to Caden's bio. Since the Lutairians are a naturally kind people, they would probably send the mother off with a place of work, so at least he would know that she was going to survive. Also, I think he should have gotten all his training for one mentor that was a bit on the side of an eccentric, because if he doesn't, they would try to teach him more about honor and mercy and the like.
