@MacabreFox I very much appreciate the invite, but I may not be able to join if it's on gdocs, possibly for awhile. My school requires I have a gmail account and it's very inconvenient to have to log out just to post, and I can't keep postponing the end of term paper I have for one of my classes.

Hey nerds/ friends/ sentient bags of refuse,

I have good news which may crimp my posting for a bit (let's face it, you guys wouldn't miss it if I didn't post for a while), but my much anticipated surgery is Thursday!

I SHOULD be able to post/ collab in some capacity like I did last year when I was in hospital, but ny laptop is a pile of shit and if I'm hooked up to the morphine/ hydromorph again, I'm gonna have a helluva time staying awake for any length of time.

Thought I'd give you the head's up, fam.

Morphine really is not as fun as I thought it would be. It just makes me sleepy. I was kind of hoping to be tripping balls.

@DervishHonestly, I'm highly skeptical about the pain-killing application of marijuana. I tried CBD capsules after my script for percs ran out and nothing really happened. Opiates/opioids are really subtle monsters when it comes to their effects. You feel light and are overcome with a sort of "glow" in your mood, where you're completely content with everything if you take a high enough dose. Easy to see why people in hard times would rather spend their 20 bucks on the stuff rather than food. I instantly remembered why I liked the stuff so much when they asked me if I wanted pain killers after I came into the hospital with a broken ankle.
