He can easily be tricked into work by piquing his curiosity, to which he will then work with unbefitting and frightening tenacity. In general, he tends to keep a calm and collected disposition, being able to look at a problem from a different point of view if need be. It is hard to make him express any emotion other than deathly indifference. However in important matters, mostly concerning the guild or it's members he tries to help to his fullest, whilst trying to draw the least attention to himself. In general, he idles about in the guild until he is pulled aside and is dragged alongside with to missions. In that, many of the guild members may view him as lazy, and unspirited. Though, Reynolf himself does not care of the image he projects upon his fellow members, and only takes offense if his friends and fellow-members were to be badmouthed. His family wasn't exactly well off, as they were struggling to get by. His father would work endlessly, day in day out to provide food for himself and his son. On some days his father would go on without food just so that Reynolf could eat, and in tandem would place a false facade of being 'filled' just to reassure Reynolf. Whenever his father was home he would be snoring away, trying to get even a wink of sleep before toiling away once more and disappearing for days on end. On his off days, Reynolf would stand idly alongside the cliff face. The wind hitting his visage was always a comforting feeling- almost motherly. For hours he would just stand, sit or lie down by the cliffside and let the wind soothe him in his lonesome. There was an employer interested in a lost art of the blessed wind. Many rumours sprout about an old civilization whom had honed their art to near perfection. Many records date of their existence, but not many of where, or rather how they disappeared. Only a handful of leads or hearsay stated that their ignorance and pride had gotten to them and their ancient village was decimated by a natural force, an earthquake. Many claim it was a righteous act of god whom delivered righteous retribution. His father worked under this employer as a miner. Employed under harsh and unfair treatment, being paid close to nothing but with no choice he had to do it- if not for himself, for his son. Reynolf admires his father's tenacity but worried endlessly for his deteriorating health. On a fairly mundane morning, he went to visit his father to surprise him with some food knowing he had not eaten for a few days and starving himself for Reynolf. As he approached the towering mine opening he was waved to pass through. After a few twist and turns in a damp, and dark tunnels he had finally found where his father was stationed. With nothing but Reynolf's echoing footsteps to accompany him he tread on. As he approached the end he found his father on the floor, collapsed from fatigue. Rushing up to his side and holding him up he had noticed how much lighter his father had gotten. He shook him tersely, but after his father did not as much as grunt nor breathe he began looking for a pulse... he found none. From them it was a blur of years that Reynolf himself avoids speaking of. He took his father's position and in a few years there was a freak accident that collapsed the mine. Oddly enough, while the project failed and was abandoned, there was something pulling him back into the mine, a voice. He had continued his digging, and after months, nearing a year, he had found a structural pockets filled with tomes upon tomes, tablets upon tablets and writings upon writings of the civilization. A few more years of self-teaching, years of trial and error, he had gotten a firm grasp of the lost art. There was an extended invitation towards Reynolf, to join the Cloud Chasers, to which he accepted to further his studies. Many mysteries still set afoot, specifically the 'employer' whom had found out about this lost art. While Reynolf has no particular desire for vengeance he would like to ask him/her some questions.
Magic:
Fallax Venti - A lost magic, specifically a subsection of Wind magic. This particular magic had been lost due to the practitioners being far and few inbetween. Ancient winds are called upon and embodies the user, the winds itself have a peculiar whistle that is easily distinguishable when entering battle against Reynolf- earning him his alias. Reynolf is still capable of doing rudimentary air magic- like basic air projectiles, levitation and deflection. However, said subsection gives him peculiar, and unknown magicks.
Spells:
[Aer's Celeritate]Speed- By using the pressurized air, and reduced air resistance he can propel himself at notable speeds, many speed-based enemies express surprise when he is able to keep up with them. [Ventus Carmina]Wind's Dance- Air begins to shape on both his arms and legs, forming a blade-like structure (akin to a short scythe) that can be used in melee combat. The Wind seem to spin endlessly in place, giving the wind it's odd whistle- but more importantly the gyration gives the wind it's sharpness making it able to rival blades made of the finest smith and steel. Since he has to utilize both his arms and legs, his fighting style is almost dance-like in it's execution, granting grace and fluidity in one fell swoop. [Ventus aetheris]Wind's Aether- By making winds encircle and dance around his form he can effectively turn himself invisible to a degree, particularly bending light away from himself. However this process is extremely taxing, requiring utmost concentration on Reynolf's part. A slight fluctuation in his calculations can effectively nullify his own ability and would hence reveal himself. It is mostly used in reconaissance and infiltration and cannot be effectively used in extended combat. It is more strenous if many light sources are present, or if the sun is at it's highest point. [Son Murus]Wind Wall- In an area infront of Reynolf he channels a partition of air. The winds are very turbulent, able to divert and ricochet projectiles, and to a lesser degree- spells. Particularly ones that are weaker. People that try to pass through the walls may suffer cuts just from the sheer strength of the tempestuous wind. The wall itself cannot be moved once it is made, as the winds are too turbulent to be transposed and can only be dispelled. [Null Spatium]Vacuum- In an area around Reynolf makes a dome-like area and forcefully pushes the bulk of air outside of it. Inside the dome individuals begun to feel lightheaded due to the small, finite amount of air left inside the dome becoming more and more lethargic as time passes. Reynolf himself is not averse to the effects, he would also be extremely worn-out due to the exertion of the ability itself. He is still training himself to get used to the different pressure and the low amounts of oxygen in the dome.
Miscs :
Guild mark is located on the left side of his neck. Just call it Wind Magic and you have more creative freedom. I think the wind whisle part is very cool, you can just make that a strange quirk of his magic.
