Personality: Kieran has an almost permanent smile on his face. Kieran like to laugh and smile and joke around, even in the worst of situations. He doesn't like to take things too seriously, which usually ends up pissing most people  off. Kieran enjoys eating apples, and is kind of his thing. Some people have a twich, or shake their leg, or bites their lip when they are nervous, and Kieran eats apples. 

History: Kieran was born into a family of witches, with a bloodline that dates back to almost the beginning of recorded familes. Magic was always strong within his family, and almost every female has the gift. The men in the bloodline have almost never had a male with magic, until now. At birth Kieran was thought to be very strong with magic, but as time progressed his potential seemed to diminish. He was still taught magic, and the theory of magic, by his magic teacher.......his mother. His mother was the coven leader of their family, the matriarch, the tip of the spear, and a master of the magical arts. She always pushed Kieran, sometimes even too far, and was more focused on bringing out his magic potential than his safety. 
 Growing up Kieran was faced with the challenges his mother gave him every day. His mother would do little things, locked his lunchbox with magic so he could only eat if he used magic to unlock it, hiding things around the house so he would have to use a locator spell to find the things missing, little stuff like that. Kieran could understand the theories of magic, and had a little skill but it was sensed he was suppose to more powerful than as he was. This infuriated his mother. When Kieran entered highschool his mother would try to stop him from hanging out with other kids, making friends, ruining anytime of social activity that would distract Kieran from his training as it seemed Kieran was giving up on his magic training. Which infuriated not just his mother, but every witch in the coven. 
 When Kieran turned eighteen Kieran changed. His spells became stronger than usual, the pull of magic became easier. His latent powers were forming. He found out he had an affinity for illusion magic, spells concentrated on creating images or altering perception. Not very useful for battle but not a waste. Kieran realized that once his family found out about his gift, especially his mother, he would be more of a pawn in their schemes than ever before. Kieran then decided he would be better on his own. He packed a bag, "borrowed" some money, and hit the road. Kieran backpacked all over for quite some time.
  His family has found him before, infuriated that he left. Kieran left shortly after he turned eighteen, and for his entire time being eighteen he rarely ever stopped moving. He found he could have fun still, stopping at cities with fairs and events, meeting the locals and mingling. He learned how to hide himself through this, and through the many interactions of different kind of people Kieran gained a typed of social skill that could only be attained through so many interactions. He wasnt perfect though, and his family would always find him eventually. Year one of traveling, he was found at a small town festival. His family ended up killing the family that was hiding him in their wrath, and killed almost a dozen more people before Kieran was able to get away from them and hide again. It wasnt that his family was normally this ruthless, but they needed him badly for reasons they kept to themselves. And after hiding for so long, they were prepared to do anything. So when the people who hid Kieran refused to give Kieran up, in their rage they struck the people down. In return, when other people found this out, Kierans family felt like they had no choice but hunting down anyone who found them out.
 Year two, age Nineteen, Kieran was found three times. Two times he was found at some sort of library, trying to learn more magic wherever he could, and the third time he was found at his new magical teachers house. Kieran, confident that he and his master could take his families chosen retrievers, but his master sent him away before they could find him. His family slew his master when he refused to give him up. In grief for his late master, Kieran swore that his family would pay for wnhat they did.
 Year three, Age twenty, Kieran tried to make a stand against his family. For most of the year his family was unable to find, finally locating him when Kieran slyly think they found him. Kieran and become quite adept at magic by now, and while he was no master, he tapped in dark places, tried using dark magic in place of his regular magic. His illusion magic became darker, more effective at tapping into the dark recesses of peoples mind and using their own fears against them. Kieran had more magic in him than illusion magic, but it was not his primary spell choice. Kieran fought off a wave of hired men and women, and fought for almost twenty four hours before he could fight no longer. Kieran fought well but for every man and women he would knock down two more would take their place. Kieran was also slowed by the fact he tried not to kill anyone, he swore he would make his family pay but he didnt want to cross a line he could not uncross.
 Year four, age twenty one, Kieran had been able to escape his futile stand alone against his family but he realized he was no where near strong enough to fend off his family yet. But he had started learning alteration magic, the art of changing something else at its very core.

Special Power: Illusion magic. Able to create visions of sorts, false images, and implant false mentalities. Such as creating frenzy and discord, muffling noises, and the like.

Things they look for in a partner: Wanting someone who chooses happiness over sadness, looking ahead instead of down. Kieran has faced many hardships in his life, and wants someone who he can trust.
