[@Indra]Don't those only show up when they get their power-boosted by a corpse, and then only last for a small amount of time while the curse energy is in them? If that's not the case, then he might have the markings from the time he got his arm taken off cause of the Hellion. 

If your asking if he'd develop them in a fight with a demon, then I'd assume so since it's part of how the magic works, unless I'm missing something(which is likely since I don't know that much about DeS stuff, never got that far in Fairy Tail, so if you could explain how the marks are supposed to function, that'd be awesome.)

edit: Okay, I read the Wiki a bit more closely this time around and I don't think that he'd have them. Lazulin is extremely cautious about using his DeS magic, and takes his time in learning the ins and outs of it.
