[@The Irish Tree] Hee, I like you. Char feels very vibrant, and lovely word choice. I adore the fact that you know arms and armor. <3 *soft squealing* With that said, I'm gonna be that guy. Apostrophes. Please. It's only 's if it's possessive, or a contraction (and its as a possessive does /not/ have one, but it's as in "it is" does). If you're just making it plural, no apostrophe. With my grammar pedantry out of the way (and I do understand, I just try to help people learn if there's a rule they keep breaking inadvertently), I have to say. I love /love/ the teacher idea here. I just...I may have an awesome teacher that I adored and am still friends with to this day. Hawkwood-the-teacher reminds me of her, a bit. History buff and the accompanying "I will talk your ear off" trait are great~ I do wish to note that I'm not sure a doctorate is not necessary for a teaching position, but I think a high-school position may require a minor or something in education. Not a big deal. *shrug* Doesn't really need changing. Just to be clear, Grant is his last name? So Richter is his first? Or does he generally go by just Grant? Right, benchmarks. You're allowed five of each, but starting with fewer is fine. Let's break it down. He wears armor all the time and so is better at doing things in armor. It gives him less trouble. Excellent~ Rallies others...Not sure how this would work IC, but a good concept. And it sounds like his own endurance/ability to tank hits goes up when protecting newbies? Right-o. Knows how to care for arms and armor. Can keep them from degrading, and probably handle minor repairs? I'm guessing this is above and beyond the standard -- perhaps otherwise damaging substances affect things he's cared for less, and he's better at field repairs to things? Inspiration again, nice way to support another ability. And it also pulls aggro -- more effectively than most other people hollering would, I suppose? *nodding* Lots of learning means he knows where he is. Makes sense. A further extension of something like Pathfinder, but without the added benefit of being able to navigate obstacles. OOOH I LIKE THIS TEACHER THING. <3 You learn faster if he helps you? YESYESYES. ^.^ A+ Plants. Hm. This seems like...a basic knowledge sort of thing. I mean, yes, knowing where you are is sort of a knowledge thing? But I'm assuming that will work even in places he's never been before -- a benefit you wouldn't have irl. Knowing about plants...what's the bonus here? Identify Monster is something Elian has, so it's cleared. Hers is split into two, but adds the benefit of knowing their tendencies and assessing even rare monsters. I look forward to Elian giving him a hard time. I'm sure she likes him, and that's what she does to people she likes. <3 Definitely want to see more of him. And him being mistaken for an NPC is hilarious. And I need to do this now. In fact. Headcanon says that's where Elian's favorite taunt for him originates~ ^.~ [@MissCapnCrunch] Daddy what? O.o *looks from you to to Tree and back*
