[/quote] I feel that I should mention, in the interest of fairness, that my own character, Ferrin, knows many types of magic. However they are "garden variety" magic; simple ones like fire, lightning, thought projection, Re-quip, ect. that many other mages would know. Further advocating him, I feel that I have an adequate and perfectly logical explanation for his wide skillset. Not to mention that they are inherently tied to his original magic. Also, while he has proficiency with them, he is by no means a master. If he were to face someone who specializes in that magic and he could solely use that magic, he would be outclassed. Jack-of-all trades, but master of none. That's Ferrin.
