She could feel every pull and it was a bit#$ as she cringed and mashed her teeth together to push through the anguish slicing upwards with a quick stroke. The construct’s arm was severed and an odd energy leaked out. His head tilted towards her and although he had no facial features visible through his helmet she could feel the angry gaze he laid upon her as he retaliated with his friend, before a second sword slashed at his back. ”Okay. Like I need more problems.” She dodged and sidestepped each swing as she noticed the third construct was not attacking her but they began to fight amongst themselves. With a thrust she pierced the second one and slew it with a downward slash, her left arm drawing back her blade and causing undue strain on her wound. But she had to fight back, Dickens was inside fighting alone. Against a being capable of slaying demons and while Dickens is different from what he kills in game Doom Marine Excels at killing. There was a green blast as the windows shattered, Dickens was blasted back through the windows and into the street. His flesh regenerated as fast as it could but Doom Marine kept firing with more and more weapons, as rockets were launched from his rifle Dickens retaliated whipping Doom Marine into a wall. As his hand gripped the rubble he dashed out kicking up dirt from his left heel as he shed his gun to reach for a grenade cooking down the timer as he went in for a lunge fisting the live explosive down Dicken’s throat. Goo splattered everywhere as his hind legs thrashed his tail back into the Demon Slayer while his head regenerated. The Doom Marine pulled out his BFG a second time and climbed his back before leaping off and twisting his body to fire his shot at his backside. The blast sent green rays outwards eradicating the surrounding landscape as Doom Marine stood over the pile that was Dickens his head reformed and rose up from the puddle of goop with Doom Marie in the middle. As he struggled in his throat Doom Marine was quickly crushed from the pressure as his form dissipated Dickens finished regenerating his foot stomped the ground and with a rumble his roar resounded throughout the empty streets. There was a relief as Eva focused down her single opponent, as the third Watcher continued to aid her for how long she did not know. ”Okay, need to wrap this up fast.” She said as her feet stumbled, the pain through her shoulder was causing more and more issues, her consciousness was beginning to fade. As she slipped in and out of focus she cut down the last Abyss Watcher before her as the third one stood there, for a second she was glad it was over but just as she thought she had room to breathe it’s eyes let aflame and engulfed his sword in fire. ”You aren’t done yet, are you?” Meanwhile further down the street on his way towards City Hall, a slender man with an outrageously long Pompadour stood before a beast twenty foot tall at least. The Young Handsome Man, reached his hand into his pocket and ran a comb through his hair as the beast broke into a full on sprint directly towards him. “You’re a real Party Pooper Clyde. I’m bout to lay down some sweet sounds you’d go ape for.” With his left hand he lifted a CD case from his breast pocket, whipping out a cheap CD. His left hand levitated it and began to electrically charge it up as he fully extended his right arm as if to punch the beast before him. With a mighty show of force Goliath bounded from the ground lifting his arms to crash into the street. “Clyde.” He said with a tisk. “Why you gonna do that. I had a big bash for you all planned out.” As he ran the charged CD down his right arm he was abuzz with energy lightning zapped the nearby light posts as he held his left palm right behind the disk and as if he fired a gun the disk shot off in a blinding display as the sheer force of the railgun annihilated Goliath’s upper torso as his digitized corpse dematerialized before he ate pavement. “Ain’t everyday you fight a monster from a game, totally unreal man. Spent enough time playing round though, time to meet the Daddy-O behind all this.” The man picked up the pace lifting his heels faster with each step the City Hall came further and further into sight. As a young girl with an incredibly tattered Hoodie fought against a flaming swordsman. The Hoodie might as well have been rags as it did nothing to conceal her face but he continued further taking a mere coin from his wallet and began to take his aim. That was when the girl’s sword collided with the flaming knight cleaving the rest of it in two, he could see her pained breathing and as he came closer could see her wounds. “Hey. Hey. Baby you don’t look alright, you look grody. And not just your clothes.” Eva quickly responded by pointing a blade his direction, her breath heaved and her arm weighed heavy. ”Stay back Yank! Hero or Villain!” “Baby cool it already, all Hero. All the time. Name’s Hound Dog, and you. Yeah you need a Doc.” He spoke vocally concerned for her well being. Eva wheezed, as her arm quaked.”Tell me something I don’t already Bloody know. I. Need to get back inside, need to find Dickens. He’s. He’ll, Dickens.” She said as her hand reached out towards the paley white Monster walking towards her. Hound Dog was taken back, ready to shoot off his coin just like that CD earlier, yet as he come insanely close to the girl she slumped onto his beaked head. As he lifted her up and onto his back. Excalibur fell to the ground as Hound Dog picked her sword up. “Something tells me this is more important than a typical sword. Righto. Oughta keep this safe, and you. You must be Dickens.” With a snort Dickens turned to acknowledge man before him, before turning towards the doors. Eva laid on his back unmoving. Hound Dog held his hand towards Eva, and smiled. “Still beating, good.” Eva’s eyes popped open, as they felt like iron doors she patted the side of her companion and he moved forwards. ”I ain’t done yet. Jedi wannabe still has to answer to me.” Her body still slumped on top of Dickens as she forced herself upright although her equilibrium wasn’t cooperating. “You’re a crazy Cat, chassis is totally creamed. And you’re still cruisin’ for a bruisin’. I dig that, but don’t push yourself hard Babe.”
