Although these arts are not typically what would be found within the Kingdom of Hiertania, she hopes she can adjust quickly so her talents would be useful.
Apple Picking: Even as a noble Lutarian, the kingdom is generally fair and just and those within the royal family are expected to pick up a certain 'normal' skill as a hobby for two reasons - the first is to not show they are above the common folk, but the second is to get first hand experience with an aspect of the kingdom so you can advise policy. For Faylinn, this is running orchards and to a lesser extent farming. While it is in no way her livelihood, she does have a knowledge of the subject and isn't afraid to climb into a few trees.
Personality The Princess is young, an idealist at heart, and loves to have a good time engaging her hobbies. She dreams of love, but like most women in Lutaries does not seek to be dominated and would prefer a more equitable relationship. Along with love though, she has a sense of ambition and seeks to use it to change the world for what she would consider the better. She has a sense of naïve idealism, but overshadowing it is a sense of duty to her people - she decided that she would be willing to sacrifice her future happiness for her people, even if it meant living her life as a lie. While she is working on keeping her secrets better, someone who saw her shortly after her lies would be able to see through them easily once the performance is over. Although she is nobility, she believes that the privileges she has been granted should be used for the benefit of those who she derives them from. And at times, she can be very fickle and irresponsible as the crossroads that is her current life interact with each other. When stressed, she tends to go out in the fields and perform some simple labor. When hopeful, she tends to be more likely to engage in her more noble hobbies. When depressed, she becomes lazy and finds herself doing nothing and lying plenty about it. One word that could never be used to describe her however is calm, as she always seems to be filled with energy. Biography The second princess of Lutaires was born sixteen years ago into the royal family, the third child of her two parents. From a young age, she was already starting to assume both the hobbies of royalty and those on the field, and they did change much throughout the years. Despite this though, she was generally sheltered - having lived in the center of the nation, it was easy for her parents to discuss the more serious news behind closed doors. Of course, she heard whispers of troubles and such, but to her those were far away problems. Although she still maintains some of her childlike naivety, it was when she turned sixteen that she heard of the struggles of her people near the border - pillaging and capture by the Hiertanians from a first hand perspective as she cowered in the noble estate of one of her friends. Understanding her people weren't fighters, after a brief time back at the capitol she headed south to try and make her own change in the world, totally unaware of the ambassadors or their journey. She has some plans in mind, of course - forming a personal union by marriage, negotiating the release of her people and the end of all hostilities official and unofficial at whatever cost, and simply trying to portray a human image within the court of their traditional enemies. Appearance Like most of the people from her land, they have some leftovers of fey ancestry remaining on their bodies. For Faylinn, her long hair consists of multiple colors that find themselves always shifting as they grow out, currently expressing themselves at the bottom as lighter colors that transition into pink and blue at the top. Her violet eyes seem to always look around in excitement, especially when seeing something new. As for clothing, the princess has her set of more traditional elven like formal dresses along with the less formal modern ones when she is out in the fields. She expects to have to change her attire to Hiertanian in style if she remains there for a long time, but so far it hasn't been an issue.

Adelbrand Volkshart
Champion of Hiertania, Knight of the Crown Lord of Ven, Vassal to the King Member of the Order of Six Wings Wielder of Sterklinge, Sword of the Stars Bearer of Azunden, the Crimson Cape Wearer of Vanguard, the White Steel Awarded the Lance of Justice Conquerer of Hune, the Giant Man-Eater Slayer of Beschuss, Fire Dragon
Age: Sixty-Three Skills

Fighter of the Highest Order: Of all the people to have lived in this nation, the Champion's deeds are nigh legendary and for good reason. Although he tends to prefer wielding his Greatsword, Sterklinge, he can use the vast majority of weapons an armored combatant would ever need with fantastic proficiency. His movement although slower with age is efficient and even to young opponents he seems extremely fast in close quarters. On horseback, he is even more terrifying since his age has little effect on his speed.
Expert Tactician: On small scale strategy, the knight is extremely proficient at organizing his troops. Not to say that the man is a tactical genius that relies on tricks or that he is a strategist who can plan supply chains for an entire war, but he is very capable of managing troops during a battle especially when handling only a single battalion. Able to recognize the ebb and flow of a fight, he does his best to break it in his king's favor.
Practiced Noble: The man is not a talented ruler, but after spending over sixty years among the nobility has the experience one needs to make up for lacking talent. Usually, he is capable of making the judgement calls for managing a city when captured, or for making a quick presentation in court.
Personality Adelbrand is traditional if anything. He practices the ideals of any knight: Honor, Fealty, and Chivalry. He refuses to lie or mislead, stands up for those weaker then himself, and defends women. A shining image of bravery and in some ways charity, the man would be willing to fight a dragon to defend a stranger. However, his refusal to lie is partially because although he knows of the intrigues in court, he finds it difficult to navigate them. It is easy for one clever enough to divulge secrets from him. Although the knight would gladly fight a mighty foe to save a young maiden, his appetite for those same picturesque girls results in him admiring beauty at times more than wisdom. His beliefs are that women belong in the household, and he expects for all men to be brave, even those who have hardly left childhood. Although he is noble and is kind to those in his land, he does not believe that they are capable of any serious responsibility due to their bloodlines and it is the job of those with dynasty in their veins to lead the people. The foreigners in Lutaires are hardly human to him, and he finds their peacefulness and complacency weak. Additionally, at times he swears he hears the voices of angels ... Biography Told he had been stillborn at birth, his parents prayers for health were answered. According to them, the Archangel Ashliel cried upon his body and brought life and strength into the child. His parents put the tears into a pendant and placed it around his neck, as a constant reminder of the gift he had supposedly been given. He had questioned the validity of this story as much as many others, although the accomplishments of the young noble in Ven led many to believe he had been blessed by something. When he was fifteen, the man's combat training was nearly finished as his proficiency with knightly combat was proven. When he turned seventeen, a noble maiden from a nearby village had been captured. Chasing down the bandits, stories say he fought one against twenty until they fell. The maiden rescued, the bandit leader's body had a map folded up upon it. Following the map and going through a tomb, the knight recovered Sterklinge, Sword of the Stars. The first of the three artifacts he wields today. Summoned to the court of the king in his youth, he was awarded the Lance of Justice for taking quick action against the bandits of the realm and rescuing a Duke's Daughter. Returning home for several years, the man fought in wars and made himself into an accomplished warrior on the field, battalions he was in taking down many more than their number. Ten years later, the giant of Hune had claimed a portion of land for himself and fed upon the villagers like they were livestock waiting to be preyed upon. Afraid the military would not arrive in time, the knight led a small team of men against the giant and defeated the monster as the last man standing, claiming the horde by law for himself and redistributing a portion of it to the peasantry that had been harmed. Within lied Vanguard, a set of plate armor that seemed nearly unpierceable. So the second artifact was recovered. Life went on for the man, marrying a eighteen year old girl who died five years later in childbirth, and going through a failed marriage with the Duke's Daughter as he found himself unable to be attracted to her. After several years more of minor accomplishments, the knight was named invited to the order of Six Wings, a group dedicated to justice with the kingdom and it's allies, in addition to regulating knighthood and training the next generation of squires along with providing lessons for those in the court of the king. A mayor was elected in Ven to run things in his permanent absence. Fifteen years before current events, the city of Kliengard was taken by a powerful fiend. With wings of red and flames of crimson, few dared to stand against the mighty dragon and it's fire. The citizens perished under the oppression of the beasts claws, leading the knight to follow the beast into the captured citadel and slay nearly solo in front of the arriving army. The horde was declared his, but the man gave up all the treasure aside from the corpse. Cutting into it's thick scales, Azunden was forged by the best of smiths. A cape shining as bright as the fierce beast, the man bears it as a constant reminder to those who would challenge the king that they challenge a dragonslayer as well. Named champion of the realm, the knight now resides in the king's court and dedicated much more of his time in court training the next generation of knights and nobility. No matter how blessed a man may be, one must never believe themselves immortal. Recently, he has started hearing the voice of an angel, and although he believes it to be true many believe it to be a set in of mental illness ... Equipment The knight typically bears an amulet around his neck that shines with the liquid that is supposedly angelic tears.

Sterklinge: The Sword of Stars is six feet long, the blade black aside from the night sky which seems to shift across it when swung. The blade was supposedly forged from a fallen star, and weighs little until swung. The grip itself is made of a comfortable leather, and the pommel decorated with a field of emeralds that seem to cast light even in darkness.
Vanguard: The White Steel is a set of plate armor that is colored white as snow, seeming to make whoever wears it have a slightly angelic aura. Aside from it's near impossible ability to be pierced, the armor automatically shifts to fit it's bearer. The edges of the plate have a dark golden trim, as if giving those who wish to slay it's bearer encouragement to try.
Azunden: The cape of dragon scales is heavy, but so is it's strengths. Obviously impervious to fire and resistant to many forms of penetration, the scales are worthy of the beast they were pried from. When stepping into the sunlight, the cape seems to make the knight have a slight crimson sheen.
Appearance Despite being over sixty years old with graying hair, the knight stands strong with a well muscled body. Standing at six foot one with broad shoulders, it isn't a challenge to find him upon the battlefield especially in armor. He has contemplated shaving his aged beard several times, but feels that it is unnecessary until someone tells him to do so. Although well dressed outside of his armor, the fashion constantly seems to resemble what would have been popular twenty years ago, with long hanging sleeves and tunics reaching beneath the knees. Even when out of his gear though, a simple longsword and knife hang at his side. Just in case.
