Class List

*This is a possible list of classes to choose from as well as advancement for each one. I allowed for a choice in advancement for each base class*

Warrior: Your basic fighting class. They can wield a variety of single-handed weapons or two-handed weapons including swords, axes, and hammers. They are the damage dealers of the group and every group needs one.
*Knight: The Noble fighters that rely on heavy defense as well as high attack. They can bolster their allies with buffs and can take damage. They primarily deal with one-handed weapons and a shield.
*Dark Knight: The Not-So-Noble fighters that rely on heavy damage. They sacrifice their own health in order to ensure they deal high amounts of damage. They primarily deal with two-handed weapons
*Onion Knight(?): Though they have no abilities on their own, they can equip unique equipment that grants them the special abilities of different classes.

Lancer: The spear-wielding fighter is able to hold the line in defense. They can pierce their targets with their spears and tower shields help defend against melee attacks and ranged attacks.
*Dragoon: The dragon armor wearing fighter is known for their unique Jump ability, as well as being able to take down a dragon. They primarily use spears and polearms, but may also wield a sword.
*Paladin: Heavy armor wearing lancers that can also use some basic White Magic to help their allies. They typically use long swords or spears as their weapon and are good at defending.

Thief: Rogue type, good at stealing items and gold (gil?) from enemies. Can dual-wield weapons or go single-handed and can even use a bow or crossbow if they choose.
*Ninja: Good at stealth and getting the upper hand on their enemies. They prefer single-handed weapons that are light, but can also dual-wield and are good at remaining unseen and doing extra stealth damage.
*Assassin: Good at taking down single enemies. They prefer dual-wielding and are good acrobatics and are able to get around tight obstacles.

Archer: The bow/crossbow user, good at picking off enemies from a distance. They can sometimes be accompanied by an animal companion and can use traps.
*Hunter: Good at trap making and using, prefers a bow, and can use the environment to their advantage (though they like the forest the best). They are especially well-versed in monster knowledge.
*Beastmaster: Good at controlling monsters and can have a wide array of companions with them. They prefer crossbows and are able to call and calm a variety of monsters.

Fighter: Preferring to use their fists to solve their problems, these fighters are trained and calm in battles and can use their own inner strength to boost their capabilities.
*Monk: Trained in the art of the fist, these fighters use their chi to bolster themselves when fighting. They are often calm in tense situations and can pack a big punch.
*Black Belt: These fighters focus on dealing damage and have been trained to withstand much. Unlike the Monks, they don't use their chi, instead they focus on the fight.

Gunner: Those that use guns or rifles in a fight. They are good at a range and can also use grenades and traps. They can dual-wield guns or use rifles.
*Engineer: Those that focus on the traps, tricks, and items they can make and use. They prefer to use guns in battle. They can help turn the tide of the battle by harming enemies and lowering their stats.
*Sniper: Long range fighters that prefer to be far away from the close encounter. They prefer rifles. They can scope enemies and take them out with ease.

White Mage: The healer class. These mages use white magic to heal and boost their allies abilities. They can revive downed allies and can alter the tide of battle and keep allies in the fight. They typically wield staves.
*Priest: Priests are the healer class that focus primarily on healing. They have powerful healing magics. They can pack a small punch in a fight, but prefer to stay in the back and heal.
*Oracle: These mages have small amounts of white healing magic, but prefer to put status ailments on enemies and help their allies with buffs.

Black Mage: These mages can summon magic to help them in battle. Typically using the elements fire, water, earth, and wind. They can deal nice amounts of damage. They typically wield staves.
*Elementalist: These mages focus on the elements and can summon elementals to help them in battle. They can use higher tier magics in battle and can inflict hefty amounts of damage.
*Time Mage: These mages can use some black magic spells, but they like using time magic to alter the flow of the battle by slowing enemies or speeding allies.

Moogle: The loveable puff balls in every Final Fantasy game. They are useful for selling and buying gear and can hold any basic job. They can be alchemists, farmers, merchants, etc.

That's what I came up with. I didn't include Red Mage or Blue Mage because I am unsure what advanced classes they could take. I suppose they could be part of Black Mage, but meh.

Before I say anything I'd just like to say I have been interested in joining and have been just lurking. lol That said...

The problem with Red Mages is that they can already do almost everything so it's hard to come up with something, since they're not supposed to be able to be too strong in anything.

Red Mage --> Red Wizard would work fine. They get a little bit of everything. However if you're splitting Black and Time magic, they lose out on part of their prowess. Maybe make the third Red Archwizard, which gives a bit more of stats all around and allows the use of Time Magic? Or perhaps allow them to become Spell Fencers, gaining the ability to enchant their weapons.

As for Blue Mage...I would ditch. It wouldn't work too well in an rp format, imo.

@Ezmeralda Possibly, I wanted at least 2 Advance classes so a person can choose from. I also don't want people to think they HAVE to go the preferred weapon route. I just chose what made the most sense.

Red Mage could be good and can be added if @Chaotic Chao is ok with it

The OOC is up, I'm kinda tired, but I will finish up the CS skeleton once I'm done taking a little break, that's a promise. (My hands hurt from typing. ;w;)

Here's the OOC! :D
