I agree with [@Valor] about the "Daily life on the ship stuff [@Hylozoist]. It's all well and good having the characters be thrust into situations in order to keep the pace up for the sake of the story. I like to think though, that the characters themselves can dictate the pace of the story, and not necessarily by dictated to, if ya know what I mean. That the characters themselves aren't necessarily a vehicle for the plot, but windows of many different types to view the plot. In my posts, Fiddlesticks doesn't do very much action wise. The purpose is to allow for interaction with other characters whilst avoiding continuity errors. In my humble opinion, exploring how characters are affected in detail can very well enrich the plot further in ways unexpected. I'm sure you have some exciting stuff for us planned [@Hylozoist] but I'm the type of person who likes to take his time. To stop and smell the roses, so to speak. So yeah, move the plot along and stuff, but I think it should be priority number one to let the characters themselves move through the plot organically. That's my two cents worth. P.S. This is the best role play I've been a part of, by far! I criticise because I care.
