Lucien gave a nod to acknowledge Xavier, one of the many young knights enlisted to protect to royal family. And while this was no doubt a most honourable ideal it always made Lucien remorseful seeing such bright youth putting their lives on the line just as his son had many years ago. But this was no time to reflect on a time long past, her highness had addressed him and he had to respond. "I am quite well princess, thank you for asking. Ah and yes you're right what a fine morning it is, which is why i've been taking in inspiration for my art" he said as he noted a fine looking bunch of carrots which he would have to examine more closely later before returning his attention in Amalia "But where are my manners?
