What he would find is a large, imposing, armored figure with an axe in his hand. Turning around he’d then see Felix in the knight’s arm, who he gently let down onto the ground. He’d also see a wall that was completely demolished, and perhaps even notice the dust and rubble on the knight’s armor. ”I take it that you have some issue against Felix here. I understand that some may fear the Royal Knights if they abuse their power, so I will be lenient for now. Explain yourself, and why you felt it necessary to try and kill a Royal Knight, myself, and justify the destruction of kingdom property and generally disturbance of peace.” Malakaus approached Duncan, his body angled just correctly that the sun was at Malakaus’s back and thus Duncan could only see his silhouette. ”And I hope you’re quite aware that due to recent events, everyone is very concerned about violent, powerful enemies of the kingdom who seeks to slaughter our people. People who are strong enough to face even the Royal Knights. And you had best hope that you have no association with them.” Malakaus was starting to get tired of all this nonsense, but such was a burden of a knight. To be chivalrous and duty bound. To face fear and loathing from all sources, be it nobles who think of him as a mere pawn, or the common folk who believe he and his fellow knights are tyrants. All the while Malakaus must continue his duty regardless of the enemies he faces, because if he, a knight of the land, a hero of the people, cannot face his enemies, who can? ”I am Malakaus Firebelly, knight errant of the Kingdom of Luganica. Now I ask you, why did you just try to kill a Royal Knight?” [@FelixArgyle][@Sir Lurksalot]

ATISHA ELUVIAN
Atisha looked at Blanc as the elf slowly seemed to remember yesterday’s events. She was obviously traumatized; Atisha had forgotten that unlike her, not everyone is accustomed to such scenes of carnage. The elf reached out and gentle squeezed Blanc’s hand, trying her best to give her a reassuring smile. But as much as she wanted to console the elf, Atisha needed the truth. And harsh, unfortunate truth. And in turn, Atisha had to be truthful. ”I’m sorry, but no… I wasn’t asleep. Yesterday I fought a very powerful enemy, and he killed Malakaus. I beleive he killed me as well. I remember you because you were the only other elf I have ever seen in this city, and Malakaus had called out for you. But I…” Atisha tighten her grip just a slight bit. This was starting to get a bit heavy, even for Atisha. ”... I’m positive I had died yesterday. I can still feel the pain in my chest and yet… And yet I’m still here. So please Blanc. You have to tell me… What happened yesterday?” Atisha also handed Blanc a clean napkin to wipe her tears with. While Atisha was a bitch, even she could feel the horror in Blanc’s mind. Or perhaps it was simply because, for once in a long time, Atisha had finally found another elf. It was unfortunate that after searching for so long, this was the circumstance of their meeting. ”Take your time, but… If it’s too much for you, we don’t have to talk about it right now.” Atisha’s voice cracked. She desperately wanted to know what happened yesterday, but every second of seeing Blanc’s crying face made Atisha’s own will weaken. She couldn’t stand the sight of a crying girl. Atisha didn’t want to hurt Blanc, she never meant to distress her. [@Seirei No Hai]
Meanwhile a merc just got suckered punch. This certainly stunned and surprised the man, but he wouldn't be hired if he couldn't take a hit. Without even bothering to look, the merc swung an armored fist right back at Hiroto. Fortunately for him, the merc had missed and slammed his fist into the wall. But from the cracks in the stone, Hiroto could easily tell that a single, solid punch was liable to knock the boy out, if not outright break his bones. And it certainly wasn't looking any better when the merc took out his shortsword. "Tch. So some hero's here, huh? I'm sure the boss'll pay me plenty once I bring him your head!" The merc lunged at Hiroto, an open hand launched forward to grab the boy so he couldn't run when the merc drove his blade right at Hiroto's stomach. [@Mystic Writer]
