He is headstrong, brave, and fearless, and always willing to carry the burden of others on his shoulders. There are many out there who consider him weak for his generosity as a leader because of how he welcomes many magicians and wizards with open arms into his guild. Vetting and knowing who you are allowing into not only your guild, but your family too, without knowing who they truly are is a risk many are not willing to take. Ambrose sees it as the first test. His fatherly and paternal instincts tell him that those who would want to hurt him, his guild, and his family would do so outright instead of hiding behind facade, so that is why he opens his doors freely. Morality and ethics run deep within the Pirate King. Knowing right from wrong is something Ambrose expects out of all those within his guild. He created the Cloud Chasers to help those in need no matter the cost as he saw that the Librarium was now abusing their power as they rose victorious after the War of the Faiths. Instead of peace and prosperity they brought out fear and suppression. Ambrose, the fatherly and over-protective leader he is with high morals, will smite down those who stand in his way and those who choose to hurt his family. The guild itself was something so pure and full of brotherhood and family that Ambrose had to be a part of it. He joined the guild at the age of thirteen and hasn't left since. Everything he did before that was to work towards his one goal of becoming a sky pirate, one of the magnificent, heroic Cloud Chasers. He was a part of the second generation of Cloud Chasers, an unruly bunch, but was taught to always stand for what was right in the face of the Librarium's path of fear. The Cloud Chasers are his home and his family and since the day they opened their loving arms to him so freely, he has done the same since as the third Captain. Today the Captain of the Cloud Chasers can still be found taking up odd jobs, rebelling against the Librarium, protecting those in need, and creating freedom for those in Pandora as one of the Pirate Kings of the Skies. His magical abilities are dispelling and defensive magics only, so he learned to use his fists as weapons as well as swords. Ambrose is known to have the physical strength unrivaled by almost no one. [b][url=http://fairytail.wikia.com/wiki/Maximum_Defense_Seal]Maximum Defense Seal[/url] - [i]Caster Magic[/i][/b] A defensive Magic which involves the caster's creating multiple seals around them that are used for blocking an enemy's attack. It does however, take a while to complete the seals as the caster needs to imbue magical energy into the runes. [b][url=http://fairytail.wikia.com/wiki/Dispel]Dispel[/url] - [i]Caster Magic[/i][/b] This magic allows its user to remove any spell from their afflicted target. More simply put, it causes an annulment of a spell. [b][url=http://fairytail.wikia.com/wiki/Nullification_Magic]Nullification Magic[/url] - [i]Caster Magic[/i][/b] A magic used for nullifying any magical attacks and discharges it within an area away from the caster. The wizard of this magic has a radius, which varies depending on magical energy reserves, in which magic may be employed from against them. The magic itself is quite draining and only those with large and deep pools of magical energy sources can carry out the magic for long, continuous battles.
