@The Survivor - Let me start by saying you're tugging at the heart strings, man. Naked Snake (I know that's not him, but you understand lol) is one of my favorite characters ever and seeing that face claim made me a bit bias haha. Bruce is awesome though. His background is actually pretty damn intriguing to be honest and there's some real potential for development in there. We also like the fact that someone finally took the Lightning aspect of Red and ran with it lol. Our only concern is the Lightning's Wrath ability and The Demon ability. For normal offensives, they're particularly strong what with Lightning's Wrath dissolving the thing it touches, devouring the life instantly, and getting stronger from it. They read like mini-overdrives. If you can tone those down a bit, that's our only issue.

@icmasticc I added some major drawbacks to lightning's wrath and The Demon to counteract their OPness. Also:



MGS 3 is the Metal Gear that got me hooked on the series and is easily in my top 10 games of all time.

Never got into MGS. Which is weird because I typically like stealth games, but I tried and it just wasn't my bread and butter.

@FantasyChic I admit, it can get pretty silly at times but its got that kind of charm. It can be silly and incredibly dark and moving and badass, it can have a lot of tone shifts, which isn't everyone's favorite thing but I don't mind for some reason.

@Rockette - Heavily depends. It can be good for random chatter, but it can leave the OOC barren too. It's a fine line to balance. I've generally liked my chat room experiences on this site, but it's also a fact that it was the chat room that lead to the death of the RP I was in every single time. It just depends.

@The Survivor I don't think it was the silliness that made me not like it. I tried the first and the second and I couldn't get into it. I think the series as a whole is pretty cool and Solid Snake is a cool character, but apart from that I just don't see the appeal. But hey, I'm the type of person that loves the Dragon Age series even though a good percentage of people did not. Especially the second game.

Top 5 games would have to include Overwatch and Undertale as well. I love a game with a good story that makes me feel things.

@FantasyChic That's funny, because I've tried my damnedest to get into Dragon Age but I simply couldn't stay with it. I do enjoy Mass Effect and KOTOR, though, fantastic franchises.

@The Survivor Ha! See, different strokes and all that jazz.

I did enjoy Mass Effect and KOTOR as well. I didn't like the online KOTOR game though, but the others were really neat.

I tend to not play MMOs anymore anyway due to bad experiences with them in the past. Plus, they are fun at first and then dwindle out. Apart from WoW that is and I don't want to play that either. I'll stick to my roleplaying on here.

Right now I am mainly playing Overwatch a lot, just got Diablo 3 and been doing that too. Later on, I will be playing Tales of Berseria because the Tales series is probably one of my favorite game series out there, probably in the #2 spot.

For typical banter, definitely. It also removes the looming fact that there's people around me posting detailed paragraphs of character concepts and I'm here with two small sentences of minor information, lmao.

I personally think it'd be easier to counter the lack of OOC use that comes with a Discord in an RP like this, to be honest. The Discord could really just be there to talk about general things in life about and share memes, whereas the OOC is obviously there to be more focused on the roleplay, rather than how many Doritos I can fit into my mouth.

Anyways, that's my two cents. I'm typically a sucker for Discord, anyway, though.

So, as @Wade Wilson put it, the new Discord chat should be good for all our random banter. The OOC will serve as a bit more roleplay focused, but it's not restricted to that - just putting that out there. We will be on both as lines of communication, though I'd suggest asking questions in the OOC because they're more likely to get buried in the Discord chat.

There is a cap, but since we are kinda vague on numbers, I dont have any hard limit set. Just know he won't be punching buildings alá superman or anything. ITs more, if he goes into a heap of enemies and they tear him down, he hits back harder and harder. He is also entirely meleé so his core archtype is gonna get wrecked by anything with range he fails to reach.

Also, It implied it is closely related to how close he is to deaths door. Meaning any healing and such lessen his power. So basicly, to get the most out of it he has to gamble is very life. It doesn't help him soak any damage, so as you can imagine, he won't be anywhere close to peak potential unless he is all but on deaths door xD. I felt the need to incorporate the CORE into his abilities properly. Everything about Kain ties into the berserker archtype.

Though I guess technically the Fayth doesn't have a singular god but has more of a Zoroastrianism thing going on with the Duotheism thing. If I'm understanding it correctly. But hey still counts!

Edit:
But yeah it'll differently be an interesting experience with all these morally ambiguous hooligans rummaging about.

It's been a while since I last counted, but I think it was 18. I'm not sure, though. I'll have to count again sometime soon.

I feel we might have the same recruiter. Seeing how my character come from the very slums your guys showed up to.
