Given the world is essentially an AU, events and antagonist will be developed and appear as time goes on. Will there be an Akatsuki-esque group? Maybe. But outside of loose parallels like that there will probably be more specific antagonists tailored to the story. I've begun already plotting/brainstorming ideas in this sense.
