High engery females are rare human females that have a connection thd the Merrina. The Merrina is the source of the dragon shifters magic. Without a female to feed them the dragon shifters are weak. The dragon shifters are divided into two groups. The Rogues who believe that all humans should be destroyed and the Nightfuries are dragon-shifters that have sworn to protect humankind at all costs.
