Name: Kubo foundling Gender: Male Appearance: Starting Artifacts: [Heart of the Mountain] -Earth The artifact itself takes on the shape of a metal vambrace, worn on the right forearm. It's made of iron, with a copper trim. It's design is simple but sturdy. The only exception to this utilitarian style is an image of a mountain covered in clouds painstakingly carved into the side, only visible on close inspection. The artifact's power is to call forth rocks, covering Kubo's arm in a thick layer of flexible rock. This functions as armour, and allows Kubo to punch people with additional force. It doesn't actually increase his strength, but rather compensates for the added weight, putting more mass behind his blows than a normal fist. [The Sparkle Stick] -Crystal A stick with a small quartz crystal tied to the top with string. Kubo's first artifact, this object seems to generate tiny crystals in the air when used, causing a 'sparkle' effect. This was originally described by others as useless, but Kubo keeps it around. He's since learned to properly use the artifact's ability, which is to cause small crystals to form, and manipulate the form of crystals in various aesthetically pleasing ways. Unfortunately, it's still completely useless in combat. His favourite trick is to create small crystal 'statuettes', or flowers, which he often puts a lot of effort into. Orphanage Hometown: Kenton History: Kubo was picked up from the outskirts of Liravel, where he had been living in poverty. He never knew who his mother was, even less so the father, and was orphaned at a young age. He survived in the outskirts by begging and stealing, but was badly malnourished when he was found by an artificer who recognized the potential in him. Kubo was brought to the orphanage at the age of 9, and has lived there ever since. Personality: If a single word can define Kubo it's 'Determined'. He wants to be the greatest Artificer ever, and will do anything in his power to achieve that goal. He also seems to have a fascination with money, having decided to use his powers to become stunningly rich. Of course he'll try and help people along the way, but the end goal is for him to be able to buy his own villa in the rich quarter. Even becoming the most powerful artificer only seems to be a means to reach this end, as he believes that artificers are clearly amazing, and as such the greatest artificer would no doubt be the wealthiest man in the world.
