Artholath wasn't one to take an interest in the plights of humans - the only interest he took in them was when the plight was interesting. Hands crossing into the dimension of the dead was interesting. It fit some of the theoreticals described by his mentors, though they were always vague on matters of death and other dimensions. He never could determine if it was possible for beings to pull others out of death in any direct permanent manner, though obviously the use of necromancy to bring back souls was possible in his homeworld, and indeed to put them in special forms. But they were never back, not truly. Their connections were weaker than the rest... It was substance worth pondering, and on that note, he returned to the inn, back to his solitary table, and crossed his legs in similar fashion as before atop the table.
