Racks by Future now sitting in the passenger seat.  Luke wished he was in the drivers seat, but  Tamara insisted on driving even if he was the professional. He didn't want to persuade her seeing as how he was injured anyway but he did compel her to make an "emergency" stop to get a quarter of bud. "Now this the type of medicine I need Tam," Luke said, happy to have some weed 

Tamara rolled her eyes, "Luke I mean I know I said I'd smoke with you, but you do gotta stop being such a damn fiend, I mean eveyday all day, you ain't trapping no more what's the excuse."

"Excuse? Listen like 2 Chainz says " I smoke a joint in the interview -" 

"OH SHIT!!!!" Luke didn't even get to sing any more of the song when Tamara hadn't noticed a car speeding around the corner and Luke quickly mustered up a telekinetic field to lessen the damage of the impact as both cars collided and Tamara was thrust forward hitting the wheel getting knocked out and Luke was jerked forward too but his shield gave him more protection but the car was damaged. "FUCK!!!!" He yelled in pain first the beating, then the giant bullets, and now a car accident. "Fuck " He looked over at the other car and saw his shield had shaved off some damage but it was fucked up. "Ah Fuck..fuck..fuckk and we got weed on us fuck" Luke opened up the glove compartment and put the weed in there then limped out the car. "HEY you okay hey.." Luke said before his eyes widened seeing who it was. "Lucy?!

Lucy hadn't seen the other car until it was too late. She had just rounded the corner when a car collided fast and hard into the front of her vehicle, throwing her body forward roughly and painfully. Her head slammed into the steering wheel and glass shattered everywhere. It had not even crossed her mind to wear a seatbelt due to the fact she had been running for her life. Pain wracked her head as she leaned it on the steering wheel, shutting her eyes and blacking out for a few seconds. 

A distant-sounding voice made her slowly open her eyes. Warm blood was dripping down from her head and down her face, reddening her vision. Her entire body was aching and she felt like she was going to black out again at any second.  "Luke...? I thought you were ..." She struggled to form a coherent thought with her head painfully pounding. Slowly, she lifted her head up off the wheel to stare at the damage. There was a huge crack on the window and little shards of glass all over the dashboard. "Oh fuck..."

Today was not going his way at all, and he was in a lot of pain. If it wasn't for his shields, he was sure his bones would be broken. Hell, he'd have probably been disintegrated. He was saddened when he saw Lucy's appearance; she was beat up pretty bad. His shield had done more for Tamara. "Ah shit.."  He used his power to brush glass off the dash board, open Lucy's door, and gently lift her out of the car. He then felt warm blood on her forehead but he ignored it. He then set her down against the car and knelt down. "Fuck! Fuck! I'm just glad you're okay..damn....three near death experiences in one day.."

"Three?"She repeated, leaning against the car. "How come you're not in the hospital? Weren't you in a fight with that Jace dude? "She asked quietly. She knew this would make two counting the fight. What was the third? Her eyes traveled to his car, spotting an unconscious woman in the front seat. She kinda resembled Jace a bit. "Is she okay?"

"Three..how the fuck did you not here about..." Luke was about to mention the hospital when two things struck out to him: first, she knew Jace's name which he hadn't told her, and second, he saw in her head she'd went to go confront him. "God damn it! Lucy are you crazy?! The last thing I texted you was don't go after Jace, he's fucking nuts.." Luke groaned. This was getting worst and worst now wonder she was driving so fast. "I'm not in the hospital because the hospital is barely standing..out of nowhere..half the building got torn up, a Mcdonalds got fucked up, traffic in front of the hospital was destroyed, giant bullets like the size of boulders and semi trucks appeared out of thin air and tore everything in that area up. I couldn't even risk reading minds so many people are dead, many more are injured..bodies, and destruction everywhere...like..I thought Jace was bad..whoever did that is evil." Luke shuddered all the crying, and panic and last thoughts he heard had scarred him. "Yeah she's okay..better then you..I managed to use my powers to save her from my damage cause she was right next to me..but damn this is a mess..the whole city is going to shit.."

"I know but before you texted me I came across this house and there were dead bodies everywhere. It was so horrible. There was a dead child inside-..."Lucy drew off as the dog hopped out of the car unharmed and came to her side to lick her cheek. She scratched his ear and then looked back at Luke. "Then you texted me and some woman called me and told me she needed me to stop him and I figured if I have the power to stand a chance against him I probably should... All those people shouldn't have died and you shouldn't have had to get hurt so bad. I'm sorry."

"Dead bodies." Luke had glimpsed into her mind and seen it and shuddered. He'd seen so much death and destruction today, experienced so much pain and suffering. He suspected the brutal murders were done by someone with powers but knowing it was Jace hit close to home. "A woman called you..I mean..okay..you don't know who she is..I'm not saying we shouldn't do anything but we don't know everything going on either." Luke shook his head as Lucy spoke. "You shouldn't have had to get hurt but what happened right infront of my eyes. I saw a giant bullet tear through the building if  I had been one room over I'd be dead, imagine being able to read people's minds..to hear their thoughts..their dreams...their aspirations..their fears..their worries, being in a hospital a place people come to get better and then all of sudden...it goes blank..eveyone went blank..all the voices in my head."

Luke was visibly shaken, and a tear came down his eye. He wasn't usually emotional, but the things he heard and felt shook the core of his being." In an instant..so many people died.. I heard so many people wishing..for help, wondering why this happened to them..begging for someone for GOD! Then the silence was LOUD I heard everyone in the hospital, everyone in the streets, I heard so many people die, children, mothers, fathers, good people, bad people, but no one deserving the cruel deaths it was.." Luke shook and accidentally tapped into the newest aspect of his powers allowing Lucy to see Luke's memories from his perspective and also experience what he went through as if she was him..as  the hospital was destroyed all around him and heard all the people's voices. As he talked he suddenly noticed he'd pushed his memory into Lucy and stopped." Fuck I'm sorry..this has to stop..sure..I ain't been using my powers to save the world..but some of these people are monsters...fucking demons..they have to be stopped."

Lucy at first hugged him when she had first saw him getting emotional and let him talk without interrupting. However the more he spoke, the more she started to see exactly what he was describing. It was as if the scene in front of her was melting away and vividly being replaced with his description. She covered her mouth in horror. "Oh my God..." Her eyes had widenend and she was shaking in fear. Once the memory had stopped, she began to calm down and she finally looked at him. She nodded in agreement, her own eyes tearing up. "I ... I don't want to be the one to stop them. I don't care about being the hero or anything I just want to get away from this but I know we can't now. If we don't help stop them, who will..."

Luke didn't like this at all; he didn't want to be a hero. He wasn't a killer either, he just wanted to get rich and famous. The same things he wanted before his powers, fame, fortune, and fun but now he had other obligations to deal with. "Yeah well we've got these powers me..it's my mind..I can use it to do things with thoughts or with the world, you've got the weather,  I have no idea what power fucked up the hospital, but that person is the number one priority..the death tolls..god I can't even imagine...but Jace too..I" Luke's voice trailed off he might as well tell the truth. "That girl in the car me and her use to be real close, we use to date..she's Jace's older sister, me and Jace go way back..our families are close..I don't wanna have to kill Jace..He's my homie..my bro...I peeked into his mind today so much rage, so much violence..but during our fight I saw a side of him I never saw before half the reason I took such a beating is I spent half the fight saving people he almost killed in his rage...I have to find Jace and stop him...I don't wanna kill him..Lucy I really don't but..if there's no other way..to..end this then I have no choice either way he has to stop or he has to die.." Luke's voice was solemn. It started off with games and now he was coming to the terms that he might have to kill one of his friends.

"Hopefully it won't come down to killing him. I'm sorry but I'm not sure if the Jace you were friends with is the same Jace he is now. He clearly has no issue killing you." Lucy told him quietly. "Let's just focus on the other person. It seems like they're way more powerful than Jace anyway. But for now, we probably need to get help somehow. " She glanced around, looking for people but this road was empty. 

"Yeah hopefully you're right...hopefully." Luke didn't know he still had a slimmer of hope Jace had something wrong with his head, but he also was ready to pummel him into the ground for the beating he gave him. "Yeah only problem is I can find Jace, I know what I'm dealing. With this other person, I don't even know who they are, what power they have, and why they're so fucked up in the head..but we gotta get over here let's head to my..." Luke stopped and groaned realizing he didn't have a place anymore. Using his powers, he pushed Tamara's car back; it was less messed up then Lucy's. "Alright..you and the dog come on..I guess Tamara's having company..tonight." Luke sighed this was gonna be hard to explain on so many levels.
