Jokes aside aside, I'm pretty sure that you can't just off and disappear for weeks without being noticed. Especially while still updating a YT acc. That oddity just stands out for me. Not in a good way, mind you.

Okay, yeah the glow was dumb to miss, I was half asleep when I missed that.

As for the youtube thing, her videos were like the creepy pasta ones were its just the narrator and pics or continuously looping video clips of things that went along with whatever the story was about so she was never on camera, and at that time she was just starting and wasn't popular enough for someone to watch one of her videos who'd recognize her voice.  Plus she didn't disappear, she quit school.  As for her parents not finding out, it was because during school hours she'd go to areas where she'd be able to get footage and pictures for her videos, or libraries so she could use the computers to type out her stories or edit her videos..
