How i usually do it in situations like that [@Jbcool] is that i first write the initial question.

[color=00aeef]Edit:[/color] Then later i realize the question has been answered, i put in a blue "Edit:" and just keep it as it was.


That way, i don't have to delete things i've spent time writing. True, that time wasn't very long.... but still.
