---Kyurai---
"Kyu~" A familiar voice called. Kyurai was sitting on an electric tower near the laboratory he had grown up in. The woman calling him was prof. Kyouka, she was one of the scientists at the lab, yet she always seemed to have his best interest in mind. "I was worried about you! What if you were to fall and break something?" Her aura was an unchanging soft-white that hadn't once flared up since he obtained this new power only he knew about. In response to her concerned remark, Kyurai stood up and jumped down, met by a bolt of lighning on the way down. This bolt struck about a foot away from prof. Kyouka, yet she stood there, unflinching, smiling even. Kyurai had attempted to scare her, but clearly he had failed at this. "Fine, let's go professor--and stop calling me Kyu. He said as he started walking, prof. Kyouka followed, but responded dryly. "Never, you should just call me by my name too." "Never." Back inside, prof. Kyouka grabbed a noteblock from a counter and the pair headed into a room. For Kyurai who had been doing this 13 years now, this was just a simple routine, though no progress had ever been reached from it. Prof. Kyouka started the checkup, reading up the questions from the noteblock. "How are you feeling?" "Just fine, healthy as always." "How are your powers?" "No abnormalities." "Have you been eating properly?" "Prof. Kyouka, that's not one of the questions." "Well, have you?" "Could we go to the next question, please?" The questioning went on like this for a while until eventually all questions on the list had been answered. Once outside, Kyurai returned to the electric tower, he didn't dislike the laboratory, but recently he had begun to appreciate the quiet and the solitude. Meanwhile, Raika soared through the clouds, watching, ready to warn her now sleeping master at the first sign of danger.
