Marianne smiled back as she shook her hand. "Oh, you can sense my bugs?" she asked. It was more of a small-talk question instead of an actual one since she knew elves were often quite sensitive in detecting living creatures, so it wasn't that odd for her to know about her bugs even if nothing of them was visible. She would like to hide her bugs entirely if she could, but currently that skill was out of her reach.

"Yes, I will admit they are quite an... unorthodox choice for companions. But alas, it was what fate has given for me as I just seem to have an uncanny connection to their kind," she continued with a wry smile.
