With a pair of intense grey eyes and a head of healthy auburn hair cut down into a fairly mundane and tame hair style at only about an inch in length along with a rather smooth looking face, dusted with a light beard and a pair of prescription glasses as well as an oddly soothing deep voice with obvious British influence that simply cruises through words. His lean, athletic looking body is often covered by clothing, save for his fore-arms, leaving many to see him as an average looking joe and doubt his physical capabilities. Outside of operations the man is generally found garbed in some rather mundane clothing, nothing to affiliate himself with his past units, simple loose fitting t-shirts, G3 combat trousers and lowa boots, on his head he keeps it real with a backwards 'Paramedic' baseball cap and a seemingly ever present bum-bag (fanny-pack) with a first aid kit inside of it. On his finger he proudly wears a wedding wring and slightly higher on his wrist a duo of bead bracelets with two names.
Skillset:
Relevant - Application of Advanced Emergency Trauma and Field Medical Care (Through the Army and Civilian EMS) - Close Quarter Engagements (Entailing both firearms and melee - Though not inept at longer ranges) - Foreign Language (Cantonese, Dutch and Dari) - Compartmentalisation of Information - Methods of Entry and Insertion - Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Acquisition - Low Light/No Light Engagements - Move Shooting and Rapid Shooting - Extreme Environment and Wilderness Survival - Physical and Cardiovascular Conditioning - Resistance to Interrogation - Military free-fall - Diving Operations Irrelevant - Cooking and Food Preparation - Ballroom and Ballet - Photography and Filmography - Acrobatics and Gymnastics - Parenting and Childcare
History: (22 SAS in Afghanistan 2003, Atwater pictured far left)
Born 1979 and raised in Victoria, Hong Kong. Ashley had a rather uneventful early life, living with a single mother who looked after both him and his brother. Having lost his father early on, Ash was pretty adamant about following in the mans footsteps just as his older brother was. His mother had them move back to the mainland after she caught a break and a new job that required relocation back to London, Ashley had no real say in the matter and went along rather indifferently. Having been a cadet in Hong Kong it was natural that he joined the scouts and army cadet force almost as soon as he got there, eventually joining the saint john's ambulance cadets too, his grades in school were pretty satisfactory so his mum didn't see much of a problem with him indulging himself in those extracurricular activities, though she did shove him into gymnastics, dance and book club. Once he had turned sixteen Ashley had nothing but a desire to join up, after finishing school with some decent grades he enlisted into the Army, he entered in 1996 intent on becoming a medic lucky for him at the time there wasn't an influx of them and he found himself a placement rather quickly, Ashley did the short course (23 weeks) at the Army Apprentices College and passed through rather well. Not a few months later he was off to start the brain numbing two and a half years of medical practices that would make him a combat medic. Once out Ashley progressed well and quite smoothly, not long after being assigned to his first unit he made Lance Corporal. By the time Ashley had hit twenty-two he had seen combat, made Corporal and had even volunteered for Special Forces Selection, it wasn't a cake walk for him, it was a very big learning process for Atwater, having come from a different military background from a lot of the other candidates who were Commandos and Paras. Even still he made it and as expected they shoved him straight towards a troop with a vacant medic position to undergo further training, as time went by he found no issue keeping up with and even surpassing some of the shooters. He served in Afghanistan and Iraq (very briefly Sierra Leone, discretely Syria, Pakistan and even the UK itself), conducting operations alongside other elements of UKSF as well as SIS and at some point during his service he found the time to better acquaint himself with an old school friend, and became a very active member of his local community when home as both a volunteer firefighter and an ambulance emergency responder. After a considerable amount of time in service he left the regular Army at Thirty-Three and a Corporal to settle down with his wife and daughter, soon becoming a paramedic for London Ambulance, though remained a member of the Special Air Service reserves and served when required. As time went by his life panned out smoothly, he had a loving partner who had her own solid career with another baby on the way, a very energetic daughter, a quiet little boy and a job that let him make a difference in his community. Soon though he found that, even though he was out their saving lives on a daily, he simply didn't feel the same, a lot of things felt rather alien to him and he couldn't come to understand why. When a buddy of his forwarded him a job description for Centurion he was pretty sceptical about the whole thing and showed his wife, she was rather supportive of the whole thing having seen how uncomfortable Ashley had become at home, oddly it took the tiny woman's fiery attitude and a fair bit convincing for him to apply for the job and end his contract as a reservist.
Psychological Profile:
Ashley is an odd character, he doesn't exactly strike most as the Tier One Operator type, at home and with his family he's the firm yet loving father figure, hard working husband that volunteers in his spare time and nerd who actually reads the terms and conditions of a contract before pressing 'I agree'. Out with the shooters on operations, Ashley is a laid back and simply calm as could be guy who cracks jokes with the crew, his attitude away from home can lead people to often doubt his actual ability to do his job. In the background though Ashley gets his things down swiftly and with purpose generally leaving people with no real reason to badger him about his attitude. Having been a combat medic and paramedic he's no stranger to the harshness that come with warfare and finds it oddly easy to compartmentalise information and put aside his emotions.
Equipment/Misc:

HK416 fitted with a vertical fore-grip, a AN/PEQ-2 Target Pointer/Illuminator/Aiming Light, a flashlight, an EOTech holographic sight with a 4x FTS magnifier. Mum's always loved Grace, even back when we were in school." - POB Kent, England (United Kingdom)
Brother - Capt. She came to the UK during school, her brother was one of my best buddies. She couldn't stand me in school which I think is pretty funny. She thought we'd have had all our kids by the time she was thirty-three, two months along so far but it's not like they're unwanted, I know I can't wait to meet them." - POB Honolulu, Hawaii (United States)
Daughter - Pamela Jennifer Atwater (6): "My first bub, absolute ball of energy. I sort of shit myself in the delivery room and had a short panic attack about being a dad but it turns out it wasn't all that hard. Grace puts her bets on her becoming a doctor but I say she'll become a paramedic like daddy, guess we've got a bit of competition there." - POB City of London, England (United Kingdom)
Son - Dorian Johannes Atwater (2): "He's actually very tame for tiny one, doesn't make much noise and always seems pretty happy. Obviously the little lad is going to grow up to be like dad or even better than him." - POB City of London, England (United Kingdom)
