Pulling out some sort of rope or something? What was she going to do with that? She was quite curious, as it didn't exactly seem to be something that was used for any sort of practical purposes. Some sort of slingshot or something? Charlotte huffed, rubbing her nose as she was poked by the other girl. What, did she think she wasn't paying attention or something? She always paid attention to something, thank you. Bah, this girl was starting to get irritating. After seeing what the girl was using it for though, Charlotte's thought process came to an abrupt halt. Was...that was what it was used for? Then why didn't Cait tell her or show her how to use it instead of letting her fumble about on her own? Granted, there was nothing wrong with learning on your own when you had nothing else - that was the only reason Charlotte even attempted it. She was ignorant of such plants or how to harvest them. With time and enough thinking she could have come up with a simple and effective way of doing it, but...why? It would have saved them both time and her more than a little bit of irritation if Cait had just showed her how to use it. The only reason Charlotte could think of, was that she was purposefully making fun of her. She watched Cait work dispassionately, only interested in how to use the simple contraption effectively. It would be easy enough to replicate one and easy enough to use it from watching Cait use it. When the other girl tossed the contraption to her, Charlotte didn't even catch it. Instead, she simply grabbed her coconut, and gave Cait a cool glare as she turned and walked away. She had enough of being made fun of in Astril. She wasn't going to put up with it here.
