I don't think it makes sense for Paula to use the escort, given how she's potentially gotta make her way there at a different time to the escort, and it's for the guests anyway. Nothing ever indicated that she was using the escort; however, if Itzal decides that he'd like to travel with her instead of take the escort then that's something which would need to be established through IC development.
