If I'm not wrong, which I likely am, pendulumn zones aren't actually on the field. At least according to a YGOpro duel where I used [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Tyrant_Red_Dragon_Archfiend]Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend[/url] and the pendulum cards weren't destroyed. Idk though, you can probably just ignore it.
