[@Aewin][@Pudding][@Melo][@Ailyn Evensen][@Snagglepuss89][@tsukune][@Shadow007][@Eidolen][@MayLien][@Heap241] [@banjoanjo][@CrazyShadowy] Woke up recently, but I'm repeating part of what I said in the Discord channel. I'll be going into damage control shortly, though I'm basically still waking up and trying to get my morale/bearings. Considering how much time and work I put into this role-play project (arguably more than a lot of people put into a paying job), I've been hit by more than just a slight depression about technology deciding to screw me over yet again, especially given the whole reason I initially joined RPGuild was to recover from the depression caused by the last time this happened. As I implied in the Discord before I went to bed, I discovered (sort of moments before making the first OOC post) that my physical data on the desktop (unless it's been corrupted and I just can't tell) is safe, because the only files that got corrupted were something that's backed up. The stuff that is compromised could still be detrimental to my life's work though, so I need to focus on it. When I started this role-play it was a completely new project with no planning done apart from the couple of days before posting the interest check (and its connections to my main project), so I've basically been working on it every waking moment for a couple months now. I don't want to see that be for nothing, but I can't let my life's work get ruined either and I've frankly been sabotaging it for this project. I'm not planning to stop giving this my devotion, but I need time to make the situation more manageable so I don't have to destroy one to save the other. My PC will also be virtually unusable outside of a few programs until I solve the issues, because for all intents and purposes there's a major virus on it now despite my protection programs. I'll try to solve it quickly. Ideally, I'd be moving over to a new PC as soon as possible, but depending on how bad the situation is that might not be an option at all. With that said, I'm gonna try to maintain some level of communication with everyone apart from just them finding out my status through Ailyn. Main reason for this is to try and make sure the role-play doesn't end up dying, but it's basically impossible for me to work on it as extensively as I've been doing while I'm in this situation.
