But I will look at simplifying it a bit further.[/color] I love everything up till we reach Personality which often gives Out Of Character information about a character which their friends might know but people who have never met them would have to learn on their own; might I also add most players alter the personalities of their Character as play progresses so that in the end they barely resemble the initial draft. [color=Lightblue]I have done that very thing! Written up an in depth personality and then totally change it in my very first post. Hopefully your basic likes and dislikes won't change too much but that part is always open for edits and adjustments. Really it's more for me so I can personalise things towards characters. Love cats? Illegally smuggle 100 of them. Dislike clowns? Oh fill in as transport for the circus...I won't expect too much in the final section. Just a few lines.[/color] The stats are lovely when you have a dice powered game but confuse a lot of guild members and add a mechanic that might slow the game play. I could see people being asked to rate their Primary to Weakest Stat...IE. Pilots and Gunfighters would prefer Agility over other stats, Brawlers Strength and so on. The weakest stats are the lovely little points where Grunts need Nerds and Nerds need Grunts. [color=lightblue] XD I like stats to stop one person being great at everything. If you want to be super bulky it will cost you elsewhere. It also just acts as a comparative value but I won't focus too heavily on them. [/color] Love Talents and would say that they only have two at the most though one might be best [color=lightblue]1 good one or 2 little ;)[/color] The quirks are a nice addition but some are personal and might only be known to those that are familiar such as Phobias and Mental Issues. Deformities such as battle scars and such could be listed in the description [color=Lightblue]If you want to keep it secret PM me but this is here to balance the talent, A scar would only count if it was visible and hindered your appearance. Or a bullet wound that caused a slight limp and hurt in the cold. Maybe your diabetic? But yea feel free to PM it if you want to keep it secret. it should hinder your character in some slight aspect.[/color] Sorry to be so critical but Please understand none of what I’ve pointed out is an area that I can’t deal with if it is your decision to use it all.
