She felt like she was rejected by her biological parents, so to spite them, she rejects her kitsune features. It's just teenage angst, she'll have to deal with it or let it control her. Either way, Ren doesn't hate other kitsune, she just kinda hates the ones that abandoned her and herself...more angst!
