[@Draconilian] I'm just gonna drop this here so you can tell me in advance if you find anything wrong with it. He would often take up the guitar and then have her sing on a regular basis. The siblings would often have this kind of opening concert in their house that would just turn into some sort of family bonding time. As they grew up, though, singing just became an occasional hobby when she doesn’t have anything else to do. She never really thought much about it after she entered middle school where she had promptly joined an Iaido dojo her father had suggested to her – which she greatly appreciated. She figured that it wouldn’t really matter much in the future. The love for bass stemmed from a horrible accident. The area they were living in were invaded by Noise. They had to quickly evacuate. Himeko, in the chaos, had been separated from her entire family. Fear gripped her heart, and despite having a pretty rational brain, she panicked but she did follow the crowd. She was cut off by the Noise and separated from the people. Her instincts kicked in and they told her to run. Run as fast as she could. She had been cornered by only one Noise but she had no means of escape. Just as she was expecting her doom, her brother came from behind and then body slammed the Noise – transmuting him and the Noise into carbon. She had spiraled into depression as she was very close to her brother and seeing said brother die in front of you for you, it is understandable why she fell. The amount of stress in her mind had almost driven her to suicide. However, she had found her brother’s guitar hidden in one of the boxes while she was sifting through the objects inside their small warehouse. As memories of her brother came to surface, her love for music had come up as well. She remembered how fun it actually was. So, she took up the guitar at first and then it evolved to bass. It wasn’t soon after that when her father was relocated to England for a job. Himeko, being quite good in English, didn’t have much of a problem with it though did have to hone her English speaking skills. It’s really hard to have a thick accent in another country and the Japanese typically have them. Though, thankfully, she had managed to minimize this certain aspect of her speech. The first year at England was quite tough for her. Everything was… well, different. She wasn’t used to that kind of life. Culture shock, some people would call it. Adjusting had been really hard for her, especially in her new school. It took a toll on her social life and academic studies. Though after the initial year of just shock and adjustment, she was able to pick herself up and do what she wants to do. Her grades went up, she made new friends and even got into a band as their bass player and back-up singer. These had been the best years of her life. It should be noted that she has actively searched for an Iaido dojo in England as to continue honing her strength with a sword. While for her, it was also training in the act of self-defense; it also did help her put her mind at ease whenever she’s tense. She had found one, though small and only had a small amount of students (because Kendo was more famous than Iaido), but the masters of the dojo were skilled in the art and so she was able to continue studying the art. Once given the choice to either go to a Veterinarian Med School or the Musical Arts College, she hesitantly chose the latter. She wasn’t too sure about the choice as graduating wouldn’t automatically place her into a stable lifestyle but she had to take risks. While she is mostly playing bass and singing because of her wants, she secretly does still dedicate it to her brother. Musical Specialty: Instrumentalist – Bass / Singer Personality: Himeko’s a pretty silent person who is typically labeled as ‘cool’ by most people. While she does tend to comment every now and then, she would usually just sit by silently and just listen to them converse unless spoken to directly. It makes her a pretty good listener if you have any problems you want to let out. She is also considered tomboyish in movement and isn’t as refined as some other ladies. She tends to trust guys easier than girls – though she is equally wary of everyone at first. She has a very strong sense of justice, which had developed after her brother’s death, and so she has the bright idea of sacrificing herself whenever she needs to. It tends to put her in many hairy situations. She usually adapts a passive tone of voice whenever she speaks which leads to most people not getting if she was either really angry, trying to be funny or just happy. This confuses a lot of people. Though this doesn’t mean that she uses it all the time. When she is overcome with extreme emotions, her passive tone of voice (and face) would change though the most used are a smile or a look of annoyance. When she is singing and/or playing in her band, her emotions usually carry over and she looks legitimately having fun. What most people don’t really see is that Himeko is a liar. A damn good one too. She can lie through almost everything and she wouldn’t even feel nervous. Given that she has been doing it for so many years, it shouldn’t really come off as a surprise. There are a lot of things that she lies about – though her feelings are the ones she lies about the most. Around most people, she only has a positive look on her face. She doesn’t let anyone see her problems. She doesn’t want to worry after all. She puts everyone else in front of her. She never wants anyone to worry about her. She never wants anyone to sacrifice themselves for her. Never again.
