[@Thread Generator SIN] yikes. ok, I'm still here and will still be here whenever you choose to either continue this topic or reboot the whole RP. [@Venom] hasn't been on since the last time he told us he was waiting on Blue, in 5 days I'd say it's pretty safe to assume that RL came up and dragged him away for a bit. I hope everything's okay there, or will turn out okay if it's not I know [@Laach] and [@MisterMisery] have said they may be able to post soon, but if they've had a week anything like mine so far I don't blame anyone for not being able to get the will up to post. Work/school is a pain and RL in general can be pretty draining. SIN, if I could make a suggestion? You don't need to wait for everyone to post before moving on with a GM post. Most, if not all, of the RPs I've joined where the GMs wouldn't do anything until everyone had replied has ended up in a similar situation to ours right now, and most have died from one or two people who wait a week between posts. Yes, I know this can cause people who consistently take longer to respond to fall behind (such as myself in many of the more advanced RPs I'm in) but if the pace of the IC is what's really bugging you this is the best way to solve that. You posting more regularly or more often (like whenever you feel there's beginning to be a lag) will give those players who are active more to respond to and keep a healthy flow of IC interaction going on, and any players who are falling behind due to things like writer's block or lack of will and motivation to post may see what other players are doing and be revitalized by that, jumping back into the fray when they can. So long as players that can't post due to RL keep you informed of that, we can dance around their character so that when they come back they don't have to reply to everything they missed, but rather can jump in as soon as they're back. finally, a little tip to help you do more posts if you want to go with this little idea I've lain out: think of yourself as a player too. You control all the NPCs, and so have the most sway with what happens in a scene. not every post you make needs to respond to every player and what their character is doing at the moment, you could post one paragraph at a time replying to each person individually if you wanted. Believe me, the less you have to do at any one time, the easier and more fun it is to do it. . I hope I'm not scaring anyone with this text wall. I just hate to see RPs die
