He was just about to take another sip of his coffee when the librarian came over. "I know its early, but you can't have your coffee in here." The actor blinked and looked up. He looked at the coffee in his hand and then turned back to the purple haired woman. He gave her an embarrassed smile. "Oh. Yeah. Sorry. I seem to have forgotten about that rule." He looked at the coffee cup again and considered drinking it all in one big gulp. But then again, the coffee was still steaming hot. Caity chewed on her lip. Coffee was her lifeblood - if this young man was anything like her, then she felt bad for making him get rid of it. He had seemed polite enough about it. And it was early. She cleared her throat. "There's a bathroom you can dump it out in." Caity looked around. There was almost no one else in the library this early. "Or... if you drink it really fast as you sign up for a library card, I might look the other way." If it spilled there, it wouldn't do any damage to books, and she had paper towels handy for a quick clean up. Nico looked at his cup again. He didn't really wanna dump a perfectly good cup of brewed coffee. And signing up for a library card was a good enough trade off for it...even though he wouldn't be around too long to actually put it to good use. "Where do I sign up?" he asked. "Over here." Caity motioned to the circulation desk. It was the only desk, really. The library was quite small - it was how she could see the young man drinking coffee even tucked into his corner. Once at the desk, she took out the application. It was the size of a postcard, with spaces for the patrons name, address, email, and phone number. There was also check-boxes to fill out, to show the genera of books one liked to read, along with an optional space for signing up for the library's emails and 'Suggested Books for You' newsletter. "I'll also need your license, state ID, or Passport." Caity gave the man a small smile. "We need to know you are you you say you are. Gotta make sure we get our books back." Nico followed her over to the desk, taking several sips of his coffee. "Uh, yeah, sure..." He placed the coffee cup on the desk, a safe distance away from where he would be writing to make sure it didn't spill. He hesitated for a minute before he took out his wallet from his back pocket. He took out his driver's license and handed it over. "Here," he said before grabbing a pen and began filling the application card out. Nicolas Bradley Jensen he wrote in his neat handwriting. Caity looked at the license, the name not registering for a moment. It was only as she typed it in that something about the name stuck. A magazine headline, from some popular teen magazine they just got in. Nicolas Jensen: Today's HOTTEST Star [sub]He's going SUPERNOVA![/sub] Caity let out a cough of surprise, glad she hadn't taken a sip of coffee. She would have spit it all over the keyboard. The young man didn't just look like the teen-heartthrob, he was him. There was some romantic drama being filmed in the area - some award bait film - but she hadn't thought Nicolas Jensen, of all people, would be the male romantic lead. "Uhm, yes, so make sure you put down an email if you want to keep updated on all the library functions and fundraisers. When you're finished, I'll need your autograph - signature! I'll need your signature." She grimaced. Way to make things capital-a Awkward, Caity. Nico nodded as he continued to fill in the rest of the application card. Library fundraisers... how did that work? Book signing? Maybe a book reading event? He had never been in one before and he thought it'd be nice to join once in a while. A change of pace. He penned his personal email address on the card and then signed at the bottom. He looked up and handed the card back. "Here...I---" he stopped short, his brow furrowing. The walls were... Are the walls melting? He whipped his head around. The tables, the bookshelves, the people reading on their own tables... everything seemed to be melting, the colors mixing together. "What the hell..." he muttered, closing his eyes and rubbing it. I really should get a lot more sleep... his mind concluded. It was as if grasping the filled-out form sent everything in a tizzy for Caity. Her heart began to race uncontrollably, and the world felt like it was falling out from underneath her. A...a panic attack? But she hadn't had one of those in years - not even when that hellhole closed and left her without a stable income. It was only when she began to feel dizzy - as if she was on the spinning teacups at the fair - and the world around her was spinning much in the same way that she realized something else entirely was going on. When the movie star opened his eyes again, he was taken aback. He was no longer in the library but in a forest. Gone were the bookshelves and tables, replaced by rows and rows of trees, vibrantly green and swaying gently to the soft breeze. He looked down and noted that he was standing smack in the middle of what appeared to be a circular patch of dirt surrounded by white toadstool mushrooms. He looked up and noted that the librarian was still there, standing a foot away from him. The world finally stopped spinning for the librarian. Caity slowly opened her eyes. She must have closed them at some point while being spun about. Once her eyes were open, she noticed three things - first, they were no longer in the library; second, that she was with Nicolas Jensen and still held the application for his library card; and third, the contents of her stomach were about to come up at any moment. Though things were bad enough as they were, Caity was glad for one small favor: that she managed to turn away from the movie star as her breakfast of coffee and toast came up. Nico's mind was already trying to come up with all possible explanation on why they were where they were when the purple haired librarian turned away, bent forward and heaved out what she had for breakfast. The smell wafted towards the actor and probably for the nth time in his life, he was thankful that he wasn't a sympathetic vomiter. He reached out and laid his hand gently on the librarian's back. "You okay?" He would have offered her a tissue or something but alas, all he had with him was his cellphone. "Fuck." She muttered. Of course she had to puke in front of a guy. A guy she didn't know. Who was a movie star. Having little else to wipe her mouth on, she used the back of the card Nicolas had filled out. He'd have to fill out a new one. Of course, that would mean returning to the library. Which... this was not. "Not really." She answered his question as she stood up, dropping the form on top of her vomit in an attempt to hide it. "I think I'm all done being sick, though. But..." Caity looked around, then glanced at the movie star. "Uhm. I don't suppose you have any idea what happened?" Nico followed suit and looked around, pulling the hood off his head and running his hand through his hair. "Your guess is as good as mine," When his ears picked up the small fairy voices and his eyes fell on the glowing, flying little forms, he blinked. "There's a really good chance that we might have hit our heads somewhere and are now hallucinating. Are those... fairies?"
