[@Shoryu Magami] If you have a campaign that's newly started, or that you're about to begin, I would love to join! And it's never too late to begin violin lessons. Why, I just got a new student, who is 67 years old. If she can start at that age, then you can start at 33! [@Sanctus Spooki] Don't be afraid to be ridiculous. I always play a healer or another forgettable role, but I end up having tons of fun. You don't have to be some awesome paladin to have fun- you can be anything, even a freaking blacksmith, and still have an incredible time. You meet amazing people, and they are great contacts to have for all sorts of things, so keep in touch with anyone you find interesting. For example, I met a guy who owned a liquor store, and he has advised me on what gifts to get loved ones for years now. If you have a specific character you like to play in roleplay online, they may not fit your LARP persona- those tend to be closer to idealized versions of ourselves, or otherwise alternate versions of what we are in real life, while online, we can act as whoever we want. In LARP, you are constricted by a few things, but there's no need to let that restrict the fun. For example, I'm super slow, so I can't outrun people. However, I can climb trees really well, and snipe from a distance. It's quite fun, once you find those things you enjoy.
