Wonderful motivation, solid history, the characterization is great.  <333  Benchmarks are clever, too, though I'm not gonna look at them too closely.  They're supposed to give us an idea of what Landon can do, and they definitely do that!

I don't know how young he thinks of as being young.  Elian is not the sort to be /too/ childlike, but she's also not afraid to cut loose.  For her part, I could see her flirting right back a bit some of the time, along with some teasing and giving him a hard time the rest of it.  I think Rube Goldberg contraptions would amaze and amuse her.  D'you think these two might know each other, perhaps be friends?
