Even when Ben and Cody rushed towards the bunker, Audrianna stayed with Jae, her mind seeing what the others failed to see in their panic. She stopped Jae from running over like the two men did. 

[color=red]"Why are you stopping me for? We have to hurry and help people out. I mean, fire. People. Supplies. Home,"[/color] he enumerated, his eyes narrowing when Audrianna kept blocking his way.

[color=mediumpurple]"I need you to calm down and listen to me,"[/color] Audrianna instructed in a calm voice.

[color=red]"I am listening to you. I will be listening to you even as we're helping out everyone,"[/color] he managed to slip past her but was stopped short when the blonde caught him by the back of his shirt.

[color=mediumpurple]"Jae Park!"[/color]

Jae cringed. The way Audrianna said his name sounded like his mother when she had caught him cutting class. [color=red]"Ugh. Okay, okay, you win. I'll listen and then we should..."[/color] he pointed urgently to the bunker. [color=red]"Obviously,"[/color] he finished. Why the hell were they staying put anyway? Was Audrianna afraid of flames? She can make a force fields for goodness sake!

[color=mediumpurple]"Listen. Listen,"[/color] she started and waited for Jae to look her in the eye. When he did, she continued. [color=mediumpurple]"You generate fire. You [i]ARE[/i] fire. I think it's safe to assume that you can throw fire as well as---"[/color]

Jae's face lit up with the realization. [color=red]"Absorb fire,"[/color] he finished. [color=red]"You're a genius, Aud. I can just absorb all of it... I... wait... How do I do that?"[/color]

This time, instead of blocking his way, Audrianna pushed Jae towards the bunker. [color=mediumpurple]"I don't know. I'm not the one with the power. Just...just will it into you, I guess?"[/color] 

[color=red]"Okay, okay, I'll do my best,"[/color] he said and broke into a run, Audrianna a few steps behind him. As soon as they were near the bunker doors, Jae ignored the commotion and the people trying to get out and focused his attention on the flames that was fast growing.  Feeling a little foolish, he extended his hand towards it. [color=red][i]How the hell do I will flames into me. I---Oh,"[/i][/color] he raised an eyebrow as the flames began curling towards him, flickering and reaching for his hand. [color=red][i]Huh. Whaddya know? I guess that's how.[/i][/color] As the flame enveloped his hand, Jae felt a rush and suddenly it was easy. He imagined him self grabbing onto a rope made of flames and kept pulling. Inch by inch, feet by feet, mile by mile...

Audrianna stopped a few feet away from Jae, watching as her young friend pulled the flames onto and into him. Soon, he had turned himself into a living torch once more. [color=mediumpurple]"Wow. I guess I was right..."[/color]

It took Jae a while to take all the fire into himself. Once done, he stood there, his whole blazing brightly in the night and exuding a ridiculous amount of heat. He looked back towards Audrianna. [color=red]"I better not run out of clothes to wear..."[/color] he said in an almost dismayed tone.
