We're [i]all[/i] subservient characters to a higher officer, including my own character, the Captain likely to be an NPC - it does say one ship of a Corsair group; now that doesn't mean we won't be able to 'remedy' that with a bit of mutiny/Captain replacement, just means we all [b]begin[/b] near the middle of the ranks. By the end, you could indeed be commanding your own flotilla.
