Lili unhooked her baseball bat from her belt. "Got it." She said twirling the bat in her hand. She started taking long strides towards the grocery store. She wasn't gonna walk slow to let them keep up with her. She'd survived this long on her own and as soon as she found a chance she would ditch these two. Better to go back to carrying her guilt by herself and to not have to do what she did to her brother ever again.
