Status update:

[list][*] Regarding Discord, my PC has just had [i]another[/i] major breakdown, and once again it was [i]clearly[/i] provoked by Discord. I've all but determined myself not to use that program at all -- you won't be seeing me clicking on any sort of link sent to me from it, at the very least, because those've consistently broken my browser each time. If I click on a link from somewhere like PM, or even another IM program, the browser can usually hold. Do it from Discord and it consistently explodes. You'll need to use PM to send things to me, and if they're not important enough to put in the effort for that then don't bother sending them at all. My PC might be a piece of shit, but Discord's making it worse.

I don't want to have to put this role-play on hiatus again, so I'm severely limiting my use of that program. I truly can't explain how [i]infuriated[/i] I am inside right now, so I'm disabling Discord's ability to automatically load things on my end, and I'll be leaving the program [i]entirely[/i] if it causes [i]one[/i] more breakdown. Frankly, if a role-play can't survive without Discord then it's better off dead anyway. Beyond the Discord issues, things with the role-play remain on schedule, but my mood will probably be worse for a while since I now have to 'recover a recovery' -- well, 'recover [i]part[/i] of a recovery' anyway. I couldn't even get a fraction of my work recovered yet since the [i]last[/i] time Discord fucked me over, and now I'm back to 'square one' [i]again[/i].

If you need me for something, post here or through a PM -- worst case scenario, I'll jump onto Discord to discuss things with people when needed, but I won't be on it by default anymore. At the very least, I'll be limiting use of that program for the remaining time I'm forced to stay on this PC in order to salvage my work. If anything even remotely similar happens on my new PC while running Discord, I'll be getting rid of the program completely.[/list]
