The muscle bound giant, Lamar, stormed through the halls, assault rifle in hand as he searched for his target. As he turned the corner, another guy (Jason) was walking towards him, dressed up in some theatrical outfit. Toys walking after him and wielding a saw. 

Being a member of Maniacles, however, Lamar wasn't naive enough to think these toys were no threat. He had dealt with strange shit before. Lamar just assumed Jason must be a mage.

He chuckled "I'm gonna say this one time: Get on the ground." He said, aiming his gun at Jason "Don't think no witchcraft is gonna save you neither. I've seen it all."

Despite what was seemingly an act of mercy, Lamar had no intention of sparing Jason. He just thought it would be easier to get Jason to surrender then blow his brains out

Valeria stopped her search when she spotted the fairy, Comet.

"Ohh hello leettle fairy boy." She said, approaching the table with a fake smile "You haven't see thees ugly mother fucker?" She asked, pulling out the image of John Miles on her smart phone.

At long last, John had caught up to his new acquaintances, Jack and Luna.

"Hey guys." He greeted them in the friendly hum of his voice "Finally caught up to you." He said cheerfully.

"What are you up to?" John asked casually, before another man turned the corner in the hall behind him.

"Alright all three of you guys on the ground!" Ordered Sam, gun at the ready "I'm just here for him. Lets make this easy."
